July 2018 'Teamwork' Loot Gaming Review

The July 2018 "Teamwork" Loot Gaming subscription box featured Mass Effect, Mario, Altered Beast, and Banjo Kazooie.

Speaking of Banjo Kazooie, that item is missing from this crate and is expected to ship sometime in September.

You'll get a large fold-out information sheet.

One side features a 28x22 poster - this month features a classic Banjo Kazooie poster.

The reverse side will walk you through the items in the crate.

Teamwork Pin - Value $5?

This month's theme is memorialized in the pin. This gives me a Double Dragon type of vibe, too.

Altered Beast Shirt - Value $15?

The highlight of this box for me would have been this Altered Beast shirt - but, the graphic is very crooked on mine! Altered Beast was the first game I ever played on a SEGA Genesis - I still love to revisit it!

Mass Effect Bath Mat - Value $15?

The Normandy gets some representation in the way of a bathmat.

I'm sure Mass Effect fans will love popping this into their bathroom or kitchen - adding a little more Mass Effect into your life never seems like a bad idea.

Super Mario Bros Mug - Value $10-15?

Since my shirt was improperly printed, my favorite item tuned out to be this Mario Bros mug. Overall, it's pretty standard with the duo featured front and center...but finish that cup of coffee and...

Secure that coffee Power-Up just like Mario and the Power-Up mushroom!

The mug is not dishwasher safe and is marked as handwash only.

Verdict: This box arrived 1 month late, it was missing the Banjo Kazooie license plate, and the best item was misprinted - there have been a number of late shipments over the past year or so now - but it has really ramped back up as of late. Hopefully, they can get the quality control and late shipments figured out sooner than later.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No - they're currently taking orders for the September 2018 box. You'll have until the 27th of each month to get that month's theme!

Did you contact them about the shirt? I wouldn’t wear it like that.
