August 2018 Menlo Club Review

The month was a bit of a curveball from recent deliveries - I received a button-up shirt with dress pants.

Francis Long Sleeve Shirt

The first item to focus on is the long sleeve button up shirt.

The material is rather rigid and features some texture with vertical white striping.

The back was a bit crazy as it kind of puffed out on my body - but there's nothing too special back here.

Overall, I don't really wear button-up shirts too much, so this wasn't my favorite, but it definitely doesn't hurt to have one around just in case I need it.

Jonus Straight Fit Pants

The pants were my favorite part of the delivery - they have a classic look and I think I could pull them off in both a formal and casual setting.

It has some buttons as accent pieces across the board.

It does have this odd little zipper pocket around the outside of your thigh. Not really sure what you'd toss in here - but it's almost like a little hidden pocket.

The downfall of Menlo Club pants for me is that most will have to hem them. They send all pants at the same length, and you'll make adjustments as needed.

Verdict: This wasn't my favorite shipment from Menlo Club. But, I don't mind having some dressier options in my closet - just in case - so to receive these for one month is alright in my book.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All Menlo Club deliveries are based on your profile, so you're not guaranteed to get the same delivery as me.

What do you think of my August 2018 Menlo Club? What did you get in your latest shipment?

I loved this subscription for my better half but the pants thing drived me crazy. If your a 38 w you will get a 36 L and thats crazy for someone who is a 29L to 30L ….The last pair of jeans were a foot to long. This is the only reason I don’t want to do the black Friday deal….plus some of there clothes are so far from his norm….it’s a great deal though.

Great review! You always have the biggest, happiest smile in your pictures. It always makes me smile too.😁

I’m not sure if the side-thigh pocket is large enough, but it may be for your cell. I just read an article on the “danger” to men/boys of keeping their cell phones, due to the radiation they produce, in their front pockets close to their private male anatomy, especially boys! Moms listen up, this is dangerous to our young boys/teens as they are still developing and the phones may be affecting their sterility long term, possibly even causing testicular cancer. The studies confirm this is already proven. Probably not the best forum for this, but after just reading the medical journal on this topic, I feel responsible to at least pass the info along.

Blessings to all!

Thank you for the info. I will definitely warn my son about this! This pocket would be the place to keep a phone.

Ha! You better watch Liz doesn’t go “Dwayne Wade” on you. I kid but the shirt back seems cut improperly or maybe too much Project Runway for me. Love the zipper pouch pocket seems cute even if not exactly useful. Great sub gift for any man that hates to shop.
