OnyxBox July 2018 “The Jet Setter Box” Review
Each box comes with an info card with a beautiful illustration on the front of the card and the back of the card, the contents of the box and their prices. The theme for July is “The Jet Setter Box.” The beautiful illustration on the front of the info card and inside box is by VG Waymer. The box design is black with the mpatapo symbol on top of the box which is an adinkra sign of peace and unity.
Acai Berry Nourishing & Regenerating Face & Neck Cream, 1.7 oz. – Retail Value $12.99
This face and neck cream intends to moisturize and fortify my skin while improving my skin’s elasticity. It also intends to help with tech neck, which happens when wrinkles appear as a result of the endless tilt of the head while using cell phones or other mobile devices. I used for a couple of days, and the cream was somewhat thick and left my skin moisturized.

I appreciate when products that are meant to work together are in beauty boxes. I used the serum on my face and neck first then the face and neck cream in the morning. The serum was lightweight and it to intends to help with tech neck, which happens when wrinkles appear as a result of the endless tilt of the head while using cell phones or other mobile devices. Both the face and neck cream and serum are good for the morning and or night.

Acai berry concentrated antioxidant rescue serum. Smooths, intensely moisturize, and strengthen the skin. Soothes skin redness and evens out skin tone. Instantly absorbs and provides a healthy and radiant look.
Bellápierre Nail Polish – Listed Value $15.00
This navy blue polish seems more for fall than summer, but I will rock it this summer, nonetheless. I didn't find the polish on their website and I'm not sure if it is exclusive to this box.

Starlooks Lip Gloss – Retail Value $9.00
I love lip glosses and own a few that I love. This gloss was non-sticky, and the shine/gloss lasted for most of the day. The small size is perfect to throw in my makeup bag or clutch for on the go touch-ups. Subscribers received this lip gloss or liquid eyeliner in their July box.

This conditioner is for dry and damaged hair; my hair is in a protective style, and I will wait to use when I go to my hairdresser.

The Verdict: This month’s box has a total value of $55.98 – an okay value for $25 a month plus free shipping box cost, but lower than previous months. Despite the low value this month the products are excellent and for the most part full-size. This box will get you travel-ready as the theme indicates. The products that I enjoyed were the face & neck cream and serum, and the lip gloss. We Are Onyx sends the best quality beauty products each month, so if you’re looking for an inexpensive WOC subscription box with the majority of the products full size, this may be the box for you!
