Peaches and Petals July 2018 Box Review
Peaches and Petals doesn't send a list of the items you receive, but they do include a note with each box. This one is very positive and hopes that everyone had had a happy fourth of July full of freedom.
Classic Coloring: Alice in Wonderland Coloring Book - Retail Value $12.95 (found here for $8.51)
Well, this is quite a surprise! As soon as I saw it I was excited because I love Alice in Wonderland. I actually have the lobster illustration tattooed on my arm! This book included 55 "removable coloring plates" that have excerpts from the classic Lewis Carroll book on the back of each Sir John Tenniel's illustrations that bring the story to life. It says that the heavy paper is suitable for anything from colored pencils to markers to watercolor. Each page easily tears out so you can give it away or even frame if there is one you are especially proud or fond of! The cover makes it look like a classic hardcover book with gold foil which brings another level of specialness to it. I'll definitely be holding on to this one!
Yes to Tomato Blemish Clearing Facial Wipes, 30 ct - Retail Value $4.19 (found here for $3.77)
While I have a preferred brand of facial wipes, you can never have too many (especially when you need to do makeup swatches on the reg). These don't smell like tomatoes, but I am really into the scent (whatever it is). There are 30 wipes to last you a month and this particular one helps clear blemishes. Yay!
Le Joli Beauty Labs Caribbean Passion Peeling Soap - Buy a 3 pack for $19.99
Another beauty item included this month is an exfoliating cleanser. It has a light pleasant scent and contains almond oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil (among others) while walnut shell powder gives it the grit that will gently exfoliate the skin. This 8-ounce bottle should last quite some time, so between this and the wipes, they've sent a great little clean skin routine.
Cobble Creek Stacking Jar Measuring Cups - Estimated Value $21.99
There seem to be similar items out there for cheaper, but I found this specific one that has the phrase "Measured with Love" on it for $21.99. The mason-jar style design is made of ceramic and is formed by four separate stacking measuring cups. This is super cute to keep out on a kitchen counter if you cook or bake a lot and want your measuring cups to be close at hand without looking like clutter. The basic 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, and 1/4 cup are all represented with a pretty light blue color.
Anchor Sunglasses - Listed Retail Value $13.99
Summer brings nautical vibes everywhere you look. These plastic wayfarer-style sunnies will keep you seasonally cute while out on a boat or at the local waterpark with the dual-toned navy and royal blue colorway, patterned with white anchors. While they're not the highest quality, they're still sturdy and will keep you from squinting your way through the beach. I always find the wayfarer shape to be really flattering on my face and generally on most people. While I can't find this exact pair online, the tag attached has an MSRP of $13.99.
The Verdict: Another month of Peaches and Petals brought another set of fun and useful items. While the measuring cups don't match my kitchen decor, they are super cute and I can easily pass them on to someone in my family. I was most excited about the Alice in Wonderland coloring book, sunglasses, and facial wipes. I'm not sure if I'll use the exfoliating cleanser since I've mostly switched to all-natural products, but I still think it's a great product to receive.
