The Zakka Kit August 2018 Review
The first thing you see when you open the box is the info card for the month and adorable "Inu" theme!
The reverse side has all of the month's items listed out with a short description. This month has a total listed value of $25.00+ USD.
Self-Inking Dog Stamp
Ooooh is this cute! This little pink stamp is so easy to use since it's self-inking! All you have to do is take the cap off and stamp away to your heart's delight! The doggo is less than a half-inch in size so you can fit it in any ol' place.
Shiba Inu Washi Tape
It wouldn't be a Zakka Kit without a roll of decorative washi tape! To be honest, I'm not even a dog person, but Shiba Inus are impossible to resist and I just love how they are frolicking all over this roll.
Shiba Inu Stickers
Can you even stand it? These look like Shiba puppies to me, getting into trouble and lounging around. One is even wearing a backpack??
Dot Liner Glue Tape
I love these dot liners. I think they're super smart and a great replacement for messy glue. This is more compact than a bottle of Elmer's and has a really strong bond. It's perfect for scrapbooking or journaling.
Mini Dog Notecards + Envelopes
I used to write little notes to friends all the time in high school and sometimes even the person I was dating well into my 30s. Not so much anymore, but these would be great for dropping into a lunch or a laptop bag as a surprise to say something nice. Top it off with a sticker or a stamp!
Dog Roll Stickers
At first, I couldn't tell what this was. I thought "paper ribbon", but then saw they are stickers, just from a roll instead of a sheet! Each one is a different illustrated dog head that you can use to decorate a letter or your planner!
Sarasa Clip Pen in Vintage Blue - Retail Value $1.75
Ah yes, my fave #1 pen of all time! I love the vintage color collection and already own this blue one, but I can't get enough and will always welcome more into my pen drawer.
Tombow Coat 80 Highlighter in Orange
This highlighter has such a sleek design! The orange ink is almost a pink as well, which I love. I don't do much highlighting but still like to collect them.
Here are samples of the highlighter, pen, and stamp.
Verdict: I had a delightful time with this month's Zakka Kit! The Shiba Inu theme was precious and the included writing instruments were awesome! I can't wait to stick these cute Shiba stickers all over the office!
