UrbaneBox July 2018 Review
UrbaneBox has moved in the direction of including more well-known brands in their boxes in response to subscriber feedback. This month they’ve included two coordinated separates from BluHeaven. I’m already drawn to the soft colors and fabrics. Let’s see how they look!
There is a flat rate envelope for any returns/exchanges you may have. You simply log on to your account and request a return label if needed. All shipping charges for size exchanges are free.
BluHeaven Maxi Dress in Light Silver
The first piece is a minty-silver maxi in a modal/poly mix fabric that is divinely soft. I think this is a great alternative to white for the summer and pairs well with accessories of any color. The front and back bottom hems are rounded and split on the sides. This helps keep me cool and gives the dress some nice motion when I move. Since the neckline isn’t going to hide traditional bra straps, I’ve just layered a white bralette underneath. Now, I think my trusty denim jacket would look cute over this. But, let’s see what UrbaneBox sent as a topper.
BluHeaven Cold Shoulder Top Deep VNeck in Ivory
So soft...so flowy...so pretty! I’ll be honest and admit that I don’t usually wear billowy pieces like this chiffon kimono and, I’m a little intimidated by it. But it’s so light and summery, and the leafy pattern is beautiful. The shoulder cutouts break up the silhouette while giving it a modern feel. I like that the waist is gathered and that it ties to give it some shape. This looks super cute layered over the maxi dress but would also look great layered over jeans or white denim and a tank.
The waist ties with a leather cord with peacock feathers attached at the ends.
Verdict: This month, my UrbaneBox stylist did a great job picking out items for me. I may not have picked these styles for myself but I’m glad to have them in my closet. The quality is great and the fabrics are beautiful and feel wonderful even in this hot weather. I didn't have any fit issues this month, but if I had, size exchanges and shipping are free. Customer service is also very helpful if you have any other issues or questions. A wide variety of styles seems to be curated for this box, so I’m excited to see what look they send next month.
