Every World Sampler Box also comes with this "Hello, World!" info sheet with information about the products inside, including the price of the full-size version. This month's box includes treats from Germany, Turkey, and Korea.

yummy bazaar peanutes

yummy bazaar peanut snacks

Lorenz Original Curly Peanut Puffs, 60 g - Retail Value $1.55

Whoa, these puff snacks are addictive! They have the consistency of a thicker corn puff, but they taste like natural peanut butter—there's a thick, salty, yumminess to them. I'd never have imagined peanut flavors in this form, but I dig it!

yummy bazaar apricot package

Sunny Fruit Sample Size Dried Turkish Apricots, 1.76 oz. - Buy a full-size bag for $9.95 (per the info card)

These dried apricots are a healthy alternative to the usual sweet snacks I reach for as a mid-afternoon treat. They're a great combination of bright fruit flavor and rich, yummy, honey-like sweetness.

yummy bazaar custard cake package

Lotte Custard Cake, 0.81 oz. -  Buy a full-size package of 6 for $6.00 (per the info card)

This little cake has a convenience store snack vibe but in the best way. It's got a light, very delicate vanilla flavor and spongy texture, and the custard center is creamy, milky, and subtly sweet.

yummy bazaar crackers

Cosomi Cookies by Orion - Buy a full-size package for $6.00 (per the info card)

Wow, these cookies were GOOD! They taste like a toasty, sesame-ish version of a Girl Scouts' shortbread cookie. They're thin, so they're incredibly crisp and delicious. The info card notes how good Orion is at salty-sweet snacks, and I've got to agree!

yummy bazaar cookie

Choripdong Korean Traditional Cookie - Buy a full-size package for $7.95 (per the info card)

This cookie is more like a small cake, in my opinion. It's increeedibly dense—the flavor/texture reminds me of freshly fried funnel cake bits that are just soaked with oil and sugar. But because of the sesame flavor that permeates this ultra-moist, hefty cookie, the flavor and experience are light and almost delicate. It doesn't feel as weighty going down.

Verdict: I had fun munching through the snacks in this month's Yummy Bazaar World Sampler Box. Sometimes I do feel that the snacks are a bit convenience-store quality, which makes them a little less exciting to eat, but I do like the element of getting to try a food from another country. I loved the cookies this month in particular. The sesame flavors were so different from what I typically expect in a dessert food (so light, elegant, and subtle) that I really felt like I was experiencing something new.

Miss Leslie

How come this month’s box have only 5 items when they state 6-8 in each monthly box?

On the website it says the sampler contains 5 – 6 items per box.

This box had some favs that I would eat again – the curly and the orion cookies.

The other Korean items were a miss for me 🙁

Trying the apricots in a Turkish rice recipe for dinner tonight.

FYI
I contacted yummy bazaar about the value of the box ($6.04) and they told me that the free shipping ($5.95 for any site order under $49) is included in the value.

This makes it a more reasonable value 🙂

I enjoyed this box. I would have been happier if the peanut butter ones had more of a sweetness to it. Favs were the Korean traditional cookie and the Orion Cookies.
