Allure Beauty Swag Box September 2018 – Available Now!

My review of the mystery box. I got the August 2017 box which I already have. It was not great for me because I won’t use the hair products–8 of them! I’ve already sold them so that reduced the price of the box. I like the deodorant and the cleansing cloths but that’s about all. I love the Sheamoisture lip crayon but it’s the same color I already have. Wonder if I could exchange it at a drug store for a different color? If I had known what was in this box I would not have bought it but for $39 it’s OK. Just wish I had gotten a box with Wen!

My review on the Swag box. It’s not bad for me. There are only 5 products I won’t use so I sold them already. Love the 2 Wen but of course don’t want the Wen comb. Also a big fan of the Zoya nail polish–what a pretty color! Don’t really like all the face masks but better than some stuff they can send. Anxious to try the mouthwash, waterless lip color, and Juice eye shadow stick. For the price I think this box is fine. Of course nothing like they used to be.

Ugh. Last time I’ll be buying. I got this box, which is fine. I’m annoyed with the Wen products. My hair fell out a few years ago because of Wen products, so I’ll toss them. At least I knew what was going to be in it.

What I’m really mad about is my “mystery box”. It was the October 2017 box and it has FIVE freaking Wen products in it!!! It’s missing the Hand Gloves and has old lipstick in it without any type of seal. Ewwwww!!!!!

I received the Swag box yesterday. Very happy with it. Only 5 products I can’t use and I was able to sell them on a local Facebook yard sale price. I received the mystery box today. It’s the August 2017 box. I haven’t had a chance to look through it yet. I already have it but can’t remember. I will give more information about the mystery box when I have a chance to go through it. But for $39 it’s a bargain!

Cancelling mine – I already got these products 3 times in a row – Wen hair products – got those every month… simply done.

My Swag box and mystery box have shipped! So excited. Can’t wait to get them.

Why aren’t they listening to the feedback they’ve been getting the past 2+ years? If you read the comments each season, we’ve all been having the same complaints for so long now and yet the company refuses to budge or change or compensate, nothing. It’s comically shocking at this point! As if they “Anti-Care” about keeping their customers happy!

I prefer to keep my hair besides I don’t think I’d make a cute bald girl.

I would totally use the comb and the invisibobbles and the Skin Co stuff but that’s about all.

I ordered it. Not thrilled with the repeats (Wen Comb, now I have 3! that I won’t use and Invisibobble). But the box costs less than the 2 Wen products that I would buy anyway. And I love Zoya, the only brand nail polish I use. There are only 5 products I don’t want so that’s better than the last box. I also ordered the Mystery Box for $35. If anybody knows what’s in the mystery box, please let me know. I hope they mail this box as fast as the last one. I got it in 7 days! We are moving next month so hope I get it soon.

Has Wen been bought out by a subsidiary of Allure’s parent company? It’s been in the past few boxes. Seems like they are really pushing it.

I was a dedicated buyer of these boxes in the past but this one just doesn’t do it for me. It’s not even product overload this time, but the fact that there’s nothing that wows me.

Wow! What a bunch of overpriced drug store items! And their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! I have contacted them 17 times in the last two years about a set of brushes that were missing from my box. They promised all 17 times to send them and never did. I cancelled and REFUSE to ever sub again. Idc how good the box is. I’ll never give them another one if my hard earned dollars. Disgusting! They should be ashamed.

What a waste of money – product look like they are from a DOLLAR STORE jumble bin.

No thank you. Looks like drugstore products. I ordered the Beauty Report even though I already have more stuff than I can use. I made “beauty boxes” for Christmas gifts last year and they were a huge hit so all my extras will be gifted again.

I agree with what everyone has said so far and I’ll raise you this: many of these brands are available at Target.

I just ordered the Beauty Report box yesterday. It seemed like a much better value than this one and it was only half the price of this one. Easy pass for me!

I got the 3 box deal in Spring when it was $119: the biggest mistake ever!
These boxes are a disaster! Repeat items (this 3rd box = 3rd Wen comb). Broken items (heavy boxes with items rattling inside with no padding = many plastic bottles arrived cracked/broken/leaking). Expired items! (ALL Wen products in 2 boxes so far have 2015 date!).
Called a company for a refund = customer service is an equal disaster, I received a lot of excuses but no refund.
Buyer beware!

Yeah I think I will pass on this…not that I don’t like the products, but like someone else commented…”Beauty Report Box was half the price.” I didn’t even get the beauty report box because I have just too much “stuff!” Just got my FFF w/add-ons today and I still have my Luxe box from Boxy coming Friday so I think I will give my credit cards a break on this one.

Way too much hair stuff to make it interesting for me. I have a pixie cut and an established product routine. Just a bunch of stuff I’d have to store and too heavy to swap.

Is it me or does this just seem like a big ole waste of $$$?

I actually want to get one of thee boxes, but so far, I am really not impressed…much less spend $60 for it.

One-third of the box is hair items, so I’ll pass. I’m just one of those people whose hair is NOT improved by adding anything other than shampoo, alas.

Waren’t the Allure boxes only $50 last year? My memory is bad.

Eh. After the Beauty Report box (for half the price, I might add) this is so lackluster, plus again with all the Wen?

Ugh, more Wen. Another pass for me. I used to love these boxes, 3-4 years ago.
