Unfortunately, Luxe Pineapple has closed down and we haven't had any luck in trying to get a response from the owner. If you have any outstanding orders with Luxe Pineapple and haven't received a refund for them yet, I recommend reaching out to your bank.

(The bank may ask for some sort of evidence, you can direct them to this post.)

Starting at $24.00

I’m sure she is going through things but she has to know about website forums and she could easy post something about what is going on. Instead her silence is speaking for her and that’s not good.

I subbed to this with special home box price, but I felt it was to expensive for what was sent. I lost money to llb, thankfully I didnt stick with this box too. Now I’m nervous about my other subs.

Lisa

Just pay month to month rather than prepay for any subs and you will be fine.

I think the owner got overextended. There was the monthly box, the home box, the shop and a box with eyelashes and makeup.

I didn’t follow Luxe Pineapple closely enough to know when all the different variations started, but sometimes the addition of several different subscription options is actually a sign that a box is in trouble. It’s kind of a Hail Mary shot to gin up extra income and interest before finally being forced to shut down.

Same I agree. Another sub that closed did the same thing. Starting a very expensive blanket sub when they couldn’t even handle the current sub box they had. Too good to be true huge sales and discounts are another thing that makes me think twice. It’s a desperate cash grab.

Lisa

Same I agree. Little lace box did their massively overpriced throw blanket sub right before shutting down. Tons of different/new subs when there’s issues with the original and massively discounted sales are two warning signs that they are desperate for cash.

I learned my lesson after LLB, thank goodness.
Good luck everyone, I was fortunate, Citi refunded me for my prepaid LLB sub. I did lose 2 months worth of Serendipity.

I need to be careful with sales – they are SOOO tempting, but I think it is ok to prepay cautiously – Margot Elena, California Found – I’m not worried about them running away with my money. It does look as if a lot of boxes are struggling.

Note to self: do not order a box of style when it goes on sale.

After reading comments published previously, about filing claims through credit cards or PayPal, I’ve filed mine, too. Hopefully, they’ll credit back the amount due as a refund.

Paypal has resolved the case in my favor, and were able to recover the funds which will be posted to my account.

Worth a try, if you haven’t yet, to file a claim with your credit card or Paypal.

Exactly the reason I don’t prepay for subscriptions!!! I don’t mind paying a little bit more (a few dollars) to have piece of mind and knowing that I will get what I pay for!

Lisa

Totally agree. I said the same thing! Saving a few bucks or being able to customize a few things isn’t worth it.

Michelle

I so agree!! In the world of sub boxes handing a company money for the future makes no sense to me.

So their last sale…Did everyone get their past box?? I ordered two And the more I think about it I think I never got it!! I have to do some research?? Argh, this is definitely a sign I buy too much.

I ordered two prepaid subs because the deal was so good! It’s been a few months and now I can’t even remember which card it used! Lesson learned!

Rochelle

Same thing happened to me. I ordered before I knew the company was in trouble.

Says the website is impersonating them to get your personal information.

It’s so weird! I don’t know what happened. LuxePineapple used to be one of my fave boxes, I feel for everyone who got ripped off. I learned my lesson after LLB.

Lisa

This is exactly why I never prepay for subs. I’m fine paying month to month. Saving a few bucks or getting to pick a clutch print or something isn’t worth it if the company goes under. Everyone always says but the owner seemed so nice or but it was an established company. Any of them can go under.

Lisa

Sorry for all the double posts. I was getting a weird error message.

Very scammy. I bought a 6 month prepaid subscription in June during their advertised sale. Never received a box or any communication from them. I emailed, facebook messaged, contacted customer service through their website, all with no luck. Then in early August their website shut down. I was able to get my money back by disputing the transaction with PayPal (the seller never responded to the dispute). Case study in how NOT to go out of business and treat your customers.

Lisa

Another one?! Lol I think you guys need to stop prepaying for subscriptions. The small discount or ability to customize isn’t worth it.

Lisa

Another one bites the dust and absconded with subscribers money. Sorry to everyone who paid her and got nothing in return.

Valene

I was wondering because I had no luck either and have a order I should’ve received. I just hope she’s ok!

She’s doing good. Still all about her horse and, from what I can tell, she and Brandon are divorcing. I unsubscribed back in February, so she kinda stopped talking to me, but it was obviously abrupt and swift. I have to say, I am a little more than shocked that money isn’t being returned. It most likely has nothing to do with her. In fact, I know it doesn’t. Her name isn’t on anything.

The impending divorce would make a lot of sense. His father’s name is associated with her LP businesses, and it appeared that she worked for his business Armstrong McCall. Last post she made was in late January so it sounds like she’s being cut off. That’s really upsetting if that’s the case.

Karen

What?! Are you serious? I’m sure she is fine and laughing all the way to the bank! This reminds me of Little Lace Box both of them were scams.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

Right Karen?! It’s adorable that someone actually thinks something must have happened to the box owner because she wouldn’t do this haha

Lisa

It’s precious that you are concerned about her but ummm yea pretty sure she’s fine and you won’t get anything.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

I’m sure she’s fine. If something happened she could have had somebody send out an email. Nope this reeks of another one to shut down and run with the money.

Didn’t this just happen? Am confused??
