Summer 2018 "Noble Feast of Westeros" Game of Thrones Box Review

This quarter's box featured 8 items from the Lannisters, Starks, and a very cool Night King bust.

You'll get an information card that details the items in your box.

House Stark Apron - Value $25?

There was no shirt in this delivery - instead, you'll get a House Stark themed apron to go with that food/cooking theme.

It wouldn't be Stark themed without the House Crest!

They take a comical angle on the series with this quote - it'll inspire you to take your grilling game to the next level.

There are even a few pockets to make it much easier to tote your tools around.

I like this little hoodie pocket - even when you're using it, there are still more pockets for items. It seems like you'll be fully prepared as a grill master with this apron.

Longclaw Stainless Steel Spatula - Value $15-20?

Conquer your grill with Jon Snow's favorite sword - Longclaw.

Like most items made by Culturefly - it has all of the details you'd expect from a fun replica.

Overall, it's fun and it's practical - it's really perfect for the theme.

I Drink and I Know Things Glass - Value $10-15?

You may become a tad parched while defeating your latest grilling task - bust out this pint glass and defeat your thirst while you're at it.

It's a standard pint glass that showcases one of Tyrion's more well-known quotes.

Hand of the Queen Bottle Koozie - Value $10?

Or, you might have something that's not on tap - the box still has you covered with this koozie.

It has Tyrion's quote along with a Hand of the Queen/King vinyl zipper pull.

It fits like a glove!

Dragonglass Ice Mold - Value $10-15?

You're grilling, you have your favorite drink - now it's time to chill that drink - why not use Dragonglass ice cubes?

This silicone tray will produce 4 cubes - 2 small, and 2 large Dragonglass-shaped ice cubes.

The Night King Vinyl Bust - Value $15?

Moving away from food items for a bit, let's take a look at this quarter's vinyl figure.

The night King get a small vinyl bust - about 4-5 inches tall. This might be the first bust vinyl figure that I've seen from them - I honestly prefer the full-size figures, but this is still cool.

House Lannister Enamel Pin - Value $15-20?

Each delivery has come with a House "pin". I used quote marks on pin because these are HUGE! Each pin is 4 inches tall and 2 inches wide - and has a good weight to them - maybe it makes them less practical to wear, but it makes them so much better to display.

House Stark Hot/Cold Pack - Value $10?

This is the practical version of "Songs of Fire and Ice" - this little pack works to heat or cool.

You can use a microwave or boiling water to heat this up or pop it in the freezer for 2 hours to cool it down. I could see this being of use for cold weather sports events, or even for more practical things with small injuries.

Verdict: When I first picked through the items, it felt like a good box for a Game of Thrones watch party - at least most of the items. Overall, this was much more on the practical side of their deliveries - so this could be a better box for the fans that don't really want collectibles.

This box is definitely better than the previous one, I really like that it has more useful items than collectibles. But still it’s not exciting enough for me to resubscribe. I’ll wait and see what is coming up next in the future box. Thank you for the review.

i completely agree–i’ve been terribly disappointed in this box, feeling like this is a bunch of cheap, childish junk for $50…where is the classy collectible box for adults? and, frankly, even this is poorly timed, considering grill season is behind us. i wanted a box that would send a drinking horn made of leather and actual horn, or bone…i certainly don’t want a silicone fake jamie hand “ove glove”, as it were…

nope, not re-subbing for this one..
