September 2018 No Make No Life Box Review

The booklet list gives you information on each item, as well as instructions on how to use each product.

Country & Stream Facial Oil Pack - Retail Value $12

The facial oil pack contains real honey, essences, and natural oil. When I glanced at it quickly I thought it might be like a serum but when I tested a bit of it, I realized it has sugar in it and is a scrub. Always read the information booklet! This has a really lovely, light honey scent. I enjoy using this as a mild exfoliant a couple times a week. The sugar is very fine so it isn’t harsh on my skin and the oils do a nice job of moisturizing me. I notice a nice change after I use it - my skin just feels slightly smoother without any irritation.

Mermaid Brush - Estimated Value $8?

I really love this brush! When I first opened it, I thought it was really cute and love the rainbow effect. The information card mentions that it doesn’t use animal hair which is awesome. The bristles feel really dense to me and I’ve been using it to blend cream blush. This brush works really well for me and the cuteness of the brush brightens up my makeup routine!

Angelite U Mascara - Retail Value $13.99

Honestly, mascara is one of my least favorite things to get in boxes so this wasn't the most exciting item to see. I just never see a huge difference between any of the black mascaras I use so I tend to just stick with whatever I can find. This is the same brand as the eyeliner we received last month so it’s cool to see more from a brand. I will say that the wand is different from most of my mascaras! The wand has an s-shape and is super thin. This does make it easier to get to your corner lashes and I like it for the lower lash application.

Rilakkuma Eyelash Curler - Estimated Value $10?

I am such an easy sell when it comes to Rilakkuma. I love pretty much anything with Rilakkuma and this tiny curler is so cute! This is a great size to keep in a purse or travel bag but it is taking me some time to get used to it. I’ve only used curlers that have long handles so I feel a little clumsy with this tool. But I’m working on it because this is too cute and I want to use it all the time!

Rice Mask Pack - Estimated Value $10?

Face masks are pretty standard in subscription boxes but this pack includes 10! The masks barely have any scent, it’s just a mild, clean scent. We’re about to move into fall which makes the dry parts of my face extra sensitive so I definitely need more hydration. These are pretty straightforward moisturizing masks. Multiple masks in a pack can be a little sloppy to get out of the bag but these weren’t too hard to pull apart. There’s also a ton of product on the masks and in the bag so you can get a nice amount of moisturization out of this one item.

Verdict: This was a good month for me! I really loved the adorable tools in this box and have actually been using them in my everyday routine. The honey pack was a totally different item for me and it's always awesome to test out new things. The only item I wasn't too excited about was the mascara but I've ended up using that way more often than I expected so this whole box really worked out for me.
