QVC Beauty TILI 7-Piece Collection Review
This box came with an info sheet listing the products included and their ingredients. I wish more information about the products themselves was included, as I found myself Googling almost all of them before using.
Perfect Formula My Favorite Topcoat, Full-Size! Retail Value $18
I have used Perfect Formula products before, so I was not surprised to find that I liked this topcoat! It provides a glossy finish and helps to make your manicure last, and while it isn’t the quickest drying topcoat I have ever used it still dries pretty swiftly.
IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser, 0.60 oz – Estimated Value $3.36 (buy the full-size version for $28)
I really, really loved this cleanser! It is incredibly gentle, helped to remove the remaining makeup I had on my face and left my face feeling so good. I never really have strong feelings about cleansers, but this is one I would look into buying in the full-size!
GLO Science’s Vial, 3 Vials – Estimated Value $23.14 (buy a pack of 7 vials for $54)
Wow! I didn’t realize it until sitting down for the review, but these three vials are the most expensive sample in the box! Each vial contains 4 applications, and GLO recommends applying the whitening treatment four times a day for best results. This had the typical teeth-whitening taste, but it was super simple to use. I simply squeezed some onto my toothbrush, brushed the front of my teeth, and waited the 20 minutes for it to dissolve before drinking the water to get the taste out. This didn’t make my teeth sensitive, and I feel confident that by the time I make my way through all 3 vials my teeth will definitely look whiter!
bareMinerals Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer in Dahling (?), 0.03 oz – Estimated Value $4.75 (buy the full-size version for $19)
This sample frustrated me multiple times. First, there is no actual indication what color this lip gloss is! If I fell in love with it I would have to compare it to online photos to try and buy the correct shade. Second, this sample is TINY. It is literally the same size as a perfume sample vial. This lip gloss provides the full-coverage color of a lipstick, but it definitely has the stickiness of a lip gloss. Ultimately this isn’t my favorite.
Julep Love Your Bare Face Hydrating Cleansing Oil, 0.05 oz – Estimated Value $0.47 (buy the 1.5 oz version for $14)
Another tiny sample. This one is a single-use application of cleansing oil. This is supposed to “thoroughly” dissolve makeup and dirt when used, but when I used this in a two-step cleansing routine with the IT Cosmetics, I wasn’t impressed with the mascara and foundation still left on my skin. This was very gentle, but it wasn’t the most effective.
Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment, 0.08 oz – Estimated Value $8.69 (buy the full-size version for $38)
This was my first time trying Tarte's eye cream, and I really quite liked it. It was lightweight and absorbed quickly, but my eye area felt nourished after it sank in. I don't know if it has brightened my eye area, but I don't really have dark circles, to begin with. I am going to use up every drop of this sample because I love how it feels on my skin.
First Aid Beauty’s Facial Radiance Pads, 10 pack – Estimated Value $5 (buy a package of 60 for $30)
Welp, looks like I was lucky because according to the website I was only supposed to receive one pack of these pads and I received two. I am not complaining, as these are perfect for travel and do a good job as a toner before I moisturize. These pads are gentle but effective, and my pores feel smaller without my skin feeling dry when I use these.
The Verdict: I think this TILI box was another good deal from QVC! My only frustration is some of the incredibly small sample sizes, but the value of the topcoat and the GLO vials more than make up for it. If either of those two things are something you have been interested in trying, then this box would definitely be a winner for you. Value-wise I calculated a value of $63.41, which is more than triple the $23 cost of the box ($20 plus $3 shipping).
