SUZANNE Selects Transformation Kit Introductory Box Review

Look at Suzanne Somers! Can you believe she's 71 years old? So yeah, I'll try her skincare line! This package is the introductory kit, aka the Transformation Kit. This card was included with details on the products she selected for this package. These are her "must haves." The reverse side lists the ingredients for each product, which I really appreciate having in an easy-to-read format. That way, if my skin does decide to revolt, I might be able to narrow down which ingredients or products are causing problems. It's super handy!

SUZANNE Organics Liquid Oxygen Therapy, 1 oz. - Retail Value $54.99 (found here for $49.99)

It's an oxygen facial in a bottle! The card describes it as "unreal hydration," but that's not completely accurate. Used alone, it actually left my skin feeling a bit tacky. BUT, after I applied a serum or moisturizer, I felt like it boosted the hydration of the other product. So I guess it's sort of like a moisturizer primer? In any case, I really liked it in combination with the other products. If I continue to use it, I should benefit from its anti-aging properties as well.

The first test, however, was to see if it caused me to break out, and the answer was definitely no! I'm not sure which of the products might have been responsible for helping me to not break out, but certainly, none of them caused a breakout. I'm so happy about that!

Ageless Serum

SUZANNE Organics Ageless Serum, 1 oz. - Retail Value $34.99

This serum is Suzanne's #1 best seller! It's a really lightweight serum, so it spreads easily and is not greasy at all. It is also full of "anti-aging actives", but I'm not totally sure what that means. I have noticed my skin feels a little smoother since I started using it, though, so I think that's a good start!

SUZANNE Organics Targeted Night Cream, 1 oz

SUZANNE Organics Targeted Night Cream, 1 oz. - Retail Value $49.99

This night cream is super moisturizing! It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It is full of antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients that work overnight. It is also gluten free, which I did not know is a thing in skin care products! It also has some essential oils in the formula, and while it does have a nice scent, it is very light and unintrusive. I like it!

SUZANNE Organics Wild Orange Vanilla Lip Balm, .15 oz. - Retail Value $14.99 (found here for $9.99)

I don't know if I would ever pay $10-15 for a lip balm, but I do know this: I have tried about a thousand lip balms since I have been reviewing and otherwise addicted to subscription boxes, and this is one of the best I have ever tried. I like it better than EOS, and that's saying a lot! It has a light citrus smell, but it's just so juicy! It's not greasy or slimy, it just feels really great! It instantly moisturized my lips and made them feel plumper. It's awesome!

The Verdict: I think the SUZANNE Selects box is great! Right off the bat, I'm impressed that my skin did not break out and actually improved. That's already a win with my sensitive skin. I was really impressed with the lip balm, and the combination of the other three products left my skin looking smoother and feeling softer. Plus the retail value of all the products is $154.96 (less with sale prices), which surpasses the promised value of $125, so that's fantastic!

To Wrap Up:

If I subscribe today, can I still receive this box? Yes! This is the first box that all subscribers receive.

I was hoping that this would be a vegan box but I don’t think so, too bad.

Thanks for the review. Between Sephora and Allure I’m on skincare product overload at the moment, but it’s always good to know about quality, green products for when my current stash inevitably runs out.
