When you sign up, you fill out an extensive style profile. They ask what kind of items you would like to receive along with size, color, style, and price point preferences. Each category is ranked with a like, dislike, or love. There is also a space to leave notes for your stylist. By the end, your stylist should have a very good idea of what you like and don’t like.
Each edit includes 5-6 clothing and accessories items picked for you by your stylist using your style profile. You have 5 days to try everything on and to send what you don’t want to purchase back in the included prepaid envelope. My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Wantable Style Edit may be completely different!

Wantable Style Edit August 2018 Review
It’s transition time and this month my stylist, Tatjana, sent items that can be styled for the last warm days of summer into the cooler fall days. Let’s check it out!
Each edit includes a booklet with a note from your stylist and an invoice. This month, Tatjana sent me 7 clothing items.
And here’s my invoice. If I were to keep the entire box, the $505 total would be discounted $101 (20% off + $20 styling fee deducted) for a total of $384. With this discount, each item would cost an average of $54.86.
Wantable also includes a prepaid return envelope for any items I don’t want to keep.
Mavi High Rise Skinny in Indigo Shaded Nolita Wash, Size 28 - Cost to Keep $98 (Keep)
Last month, these jeans were listed as part of my edit but a different pair of jeans ended up being shipped to me. This month, I received the correct pair and ... I think I’m in love. The last pair of jeans that I swooned over were from Mavi but I didn’t buy them. 🙁 I’m not letting these slip by me again. They are high-rise, soft and stretchy, and don’t slide down my hips. Yay for no shimmy dance every time I stand up! The shading is just enough and the long length is perfect. They are on the expensive side but they fit perfectly and will last for years.
Prince Peter Collection All Over Stars Pullover in White/Blue, Size M - Cost to Keep $70 (Return)
I’m really liking the lightweight terry sweatshirt material that this top is made of. It’s the perfect weight for fall. But, the star print just isn’t me and the cut doesn’t do anything for my shape.
Olive & Oak Oakley Top in Black, Size M - Cost to Keep $42 (Return)
This top doesn’t really look like black to me, it’s more of a charcoal grey. It’s cute and the modal fabric feels like peach skin – soooo soft. I love the relaxed fit and length and I’m tempted to keep it. But, I just don’t need it enough right now to purchase.
W. by Wantable Lace Front ¾ Sleeve Top in Heather Grey, Size M - Cost to Keep $69 (Return)
Eh, this isn’t bad but isn’t great. The first red flag is that it’s hand wash only. The second is that it’s a bit too short for me and looks boxy. It may be that I need a larger size to get more drape, but I’m not liking it enough to try an exchange.
Kensie Floral Cranes Cold Shoulder Dress in Black Combo, Size M - Cost to Keep $89 (Return)
I usually don’t love patterns that are this busy, but I think this one has a soft, feminine vibe that is pretty. The crepey fabric feels thick but not heavy and doesn’t cling to anything. The length of this dress is great and I like the cut on me, plus it’s lined along the whole bodice. My issues are that the v-neck is too deep for everyday and the top arm opening is too wide and really draws attention to one of my least favorite areas, my upper arms. I think one more tie in the center of that top opening would look better.
1. State Embroidered Strap Camisole in Peach Buff, Size M - Cost to Keep $69 (Return)
I thought this would be a winner, but alas, it just didn’t work out. I’m drawn to these peachy shades and I love flowy cut chiffon fabrics. These shade happens to be just too similar to my skintone and washes me out. The bust is far too tight while the waist is too big and since it’s 100% polyester, there is no stretch. It has great details though like the embroidered, adjustable straps and second layer underneath.
Articles of Society Heather High Rise Crop in Liverpool Wash, Size 28 - Cost to Keep $68 (Keep)
So...the other item I’m keeping this month is a pair of jeans. Whoops! I requested these because I felt like I needed a pair of light-wash jeans and these had the least amount of destruction. They have a few raw areas and an ankle length raw hem but no open holes or destruction in the back. I like the solid wash (no feathering accents) and the super soft feel. The rise is high and my bum is fully covered and contained. The straight cut hem means I can cuff them for a cleaner look too. I like options!
The Verdict: Well, it is a jeans kind of month for me! That’s great though because I always struggle to find my “perfect” denim. I’m glad Tatjana included an item I requested from the Stream and that it worked out. It is so convenient to be able to try on clothes on at home, with my existing wardrobe, and on my own time. Plus, it is so fun to receive so many items! Since I’m keeping 2 items, I don’t receive the 20% discount, but my $20 styling fee will be applied to my purchase. So the total for the 2 items is $146. For $20 a month (which also includes free shipping and returns), Wantable Style Edit is a low-risk way of shopping for clothes in the comfort of your home.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This styling fee for this box is $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $505. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 styling fee would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $384 for the whole box.
