When you sign up, you fill out an extensive style profile. They ask what kind of items you would like to receive along with size, color, style, and price point preferences. Each category is ranked with a like, dislike, or love. There is also a space to leave notes for your stylist. By the end, your stylist should have a very good idea of what you like and don’t like.
Each edit includes 5-6 clothing and accessories items picked for you by your stylist using your style profile. You have 5 days to try everything on and to send what you don’t want to purchase back in the included prepaid envelope. My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Wantable Style Edit may be completely different!

Wantable Style Edit September 2018 Review
Yay for fall clothes! My stylist, Tatjana, was able to send 2 of my stream requests and a few other items she thought would be good for any day of the week. Let’s check it out!
Each edit includes a booklet with a note from your stylist and an invoice. This month, Tatjana sent me 6 clothing items and a bag. There’s also an info card about exchanges.
And here’s my invoice. If I were to keep the entire box, the $431 total would be discounted $106.20 (20% off + $20 styling fee deducted) for a total of $324.80. With this discount, each item would cost an average of $46.40.
Wantable also includes a prepaid return envelope to send back any items I don’t want to keep.
Sage Ruffle Sleeve Stripe Tee in White/Navy by Beach Lunch Lounge, M - Cost to Keep $48 (Keep)
My first item is this 100% cotton, oversized tee. I don’t usually go for boxy tops, but I think this is cute. The full ruffled sleeves balance out the width and give it a feminine feel. The neckline is perfect for wearing with a layered necklace and I think the stripes will fit into my wardrobe easily. I love it untucked but I can’t wait to try it tucked into a pencil skirt.
Military Patch Pocket Zipper Detail Skinny in Burnt Olive by Meritage, 6 - Cost to Keep $88 (Return)
Now, these are my kind of cargo pants! So much so that I already have a super similar pair. I love the zipper detail at the ankle and that they actually unzip. The pockets lay flat so I get the cargo effect without the bulk. The fabric is soft and stretchy and a lovely, matte olive shade that is a perfect fall neutral.
Short Sleeve V-Neck Pocket Tee in Heather Grey by Piper, M - Cost to Keep $38 (Return)
In the past, I haven’t had much luck with Piper tops. They always tend to be too short on me. This tee is actually a great length and I like the curved hem that’s longer in the front and back. The modal/elastane mix fabric is cool and slinky. I think this is a great basic and could work for layering with so many of my tops this fall. It just feels a bit too tight and clings to lumps and bumps that I don’t want to show.
High Waisted Ponte Legging by Lumiere, M - Cost to Keep $69 (Keep)
These leggings are the first of the requested items that Tatjana included and I’m in love! My uniform in fall consists of black leggings and tunics and these are the most wonderful leggings I’ve ever tried on. They are 70% rayon, 25% nylon, and 5% spandex and have a matte black finish. The fabric is thick (thicker than workout leggings) but very flexible so I don’t have to worry about show-through. The waistband is high and supportive and I’m liking that they aren’t super tight but fit more like a nice pant.
Open Plaid Fringe Top in Deep Teal by Willow & Clay, M - Cost to Keep $88 (Keep)
I requested a plaid shirt similar to this but I’m so glad my stylist included a cardigan version of it instead. This black, white, and teal combo is perfect for me and I love the fun detail of the fringe. The sleeves are full length but can be buttoned up to ¾ length and the 100% rayon is thin enough to wear even in wanna-be fall weather. Here I’ve layered it over the Piper tee and leggings for an easy, super comfy look.
Mixed Media Raglan Top in Black/White by Le Lis, M - Cost to Keep $48 (Return)
Here’s my second requested item. I was drawn to the dots and raglan style. I think it’s cute but I feel like it highlights my upper body width a bit too much. The fabrics feel really nice though. The body is a poly-chiffon and the sleeves are a soft viscose/spandex blend. The curved hem on this is also a plus since it covers up the front and back and works well with leggings.
Abree Crossbody in Blush by Street Level - Cost to Keep $52 (Return)
I always like when I receive an accessory to try. This bag is made of blush faux leather and gold accents. The chain is detachable so it can be carried as a clutch or worn as a crossbody bag. The inside is lined with black canvas and has 2 zipper sections and one open section. It passes the large phone test too! I like it and want to keep it, but I had to make myself choose between this and the top...and the top won.
The Verdict: I feel like this was a great Wantable Style Edit for me! I like that I’ve begun being more selective with my purchases and feel like Wantable has been a big part of that. I try to only buy items that I love, that are good quality, and that I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of. The three items I kept this month fit those criteria perfectly. Tatjana did a great job of included a mix of requested items and items that she thought would enhance my wardrobe. I also had multiple outfits that I could put together with just these items. Since I’m keeping 3 items, I don’t receive the 20% discount, but my $20 styling fee will be applied to my purchase. So the total for the 3 items is $205. For $20 a month (which also includes free shipping and returns), Wantable Style Edit is a low-risk way of shopping for clothes in the comfort of your home.
