Eltoria just unboxed the Birchbox UK Advent and after conversion it’s ~$83 and it’s huge. It’s a 24 day calendar and it has drawers and doors. She described it as a wardrobe. It included a lot of samples but full size items as well. Some of the items are the same but not everything in the US version is included in the UK and they of course have a lot more. Why do the US versions of Advent calendars seem to su*k?

I see soooooo many complaints about Birchbox – and I agree. In general, it’s cool that they are an online store where you can sometimes get good deals on good products. But their subscription box is totally lackluster, as is this curation.

I still have the majority of those items unopened from recent boxes… I think I counted 9 of them that I got not too long ago

Looks like a 14 day calendar. That’s one shy of three sample boxes at $10 each. So I wouldn’t pay more than $35 for this box. It’s an easy pass for me considering I’ve received most of that from previous boxes.

I Would love the eyeko eyeliner if it didn’t transfer to my upper lid. I’ve tried the waterproof and it transfer. Very disappointing

If it’s $35 like last year I grantee it will sell out. Last, years was gone within a week/half. Now if it’s more then $35 then yea doubtful it will sell out like last yrs.

I’ve always defended the eyeko liner in other posts because I do like it, but honestly now I’m tired of seeing it too.

Its not that I don’t like it per-say, it is just basic black eyeliner that I will use once a month maybe. But between several sub boxes I have about 6 of them, so basically a lifetime supply with how often I reach for black eyeliner. I just wish sub boxes would start sending other colors.

The Oribe product is nice but I already have it and have sampled pretty much all the other products. It’s a pass for me just like every other Advent calendar this year.
