Candy Club October 2018 Review
You'll get info cards that describe the candy as well as list the nutritional info on the back. They don't always send all of them. This month I only got info for 2 of 4.
Sweet's Cotton Candy Salt Water Taffy, 2.6 oz.
The loose candy this month is salt water taffy whiiiich is not my favorite but these are actually really tasty. I'm surprised how much I like these! They're incredibly soft and chewy and are quite sweet but not overbearing with the cotton candy flavor. These taste a lot like the real thing.
Gustaf's Sour Mini Gummy Piglets, 12.1 oz.
I could not pass up these adorable piggies! Upon opening, I could immediately smell the sweetness which is a berry flavor. They are quite sour which I like and are rounding out to be pretty addictive.
Arway Chocolate Toffee Peanuts, 10.2 oz.
Ohhh yea- I love toffee so these HIT THE SPOT. It all starts with a simple peanut. From there, these babies are dunked in toffee, then coated in milky chocolate, and dusted with some powdered sugar. Sweetness upon sweetness- could you imagine these in ice cream? I may need to crush them up and make it happen.
Zachary Chocolate Covered Maple Nut Clusters, 9.5 oz.
Maple candy isn't normally my thing unless I'm at a maple syrup festival but these seemed like a nice fall treat and I'm a sucker for chocolate covered clusters. The maple isn't super prominent and is in sort of a paste form. Just one of these satisfies my sweet tooth after a meal so they'll last me a little longer than the other candies.
Verdict: Aside from Candy Club's prices, I really do enjoy the candy they sell and usually like everything I get. This time I got a total of 34.4 ounces total or 2.15 pounds which seems too steep for over $48.00 a month.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You won't get this exact box since you can either choose your candy or have it chosen at random for you and the selection changes all the time.
