GlossyBox Advent Calendar Available Now + Coupon!

I got mine today and while I don’t hate it, I sure am glad I got it for $35. None of the items I really wanted like the eye shadow palettes or Nars lip product were in it. The UK version is much better.

I ordered and paid $75 for the Advent Calendar and they sent me an October Glossybox:(. I contacted customer service took pictures of the matching tracking codes have e-mailed and called and no one will get back to me:(. I’m super bummed!! I paid $75 for a box I already have. It’s 12/13 and Glossybox is ghosting me, but have happily taken my money:(. Grrrrr!!!!

It’s like they pulled a bait n switch on us subscribers who took advantage of the 48 hr discount. Pretty sh*tty on Glossyboxs part. I need to unsub.

In fact, I just watched an unboxing on YouTube, and this year’s Essence advent calendar is seriously perfect for a 15y.o. I am even curious about some of the items myself, like one of their new design brushes.

It’s already selling in Europe, should be available here soon.

For a teenager I would definitely recommend the Essence advent calendar when it becomes available. It was actually pretty awesome last year.

Yeah some of the anti aging things may be geared more toward older women…..
Maybe consider a Target advent calendar? Or one of the ones from the body shop?

I was wondering that too, when I saw it on their site. On the one hand they are saying last year’s holiday box is sold out, but on the other, I haven’t seen any information on *this* year’s holiday box anywhere.

There is a video posted on YouTube. This box is indeed not as nice as the UK version.

The UK version of Glossybox is far better in every way it seems. I watch the unboxing of the monthly boxes and they surpass the US version like every time. I purchased this knowing the items were going to be different and likely wouldn’t be as good. The UK box is 99lbs and converted is around $130 and we only paid $99 or $79 (subscriber price). I am actually going to reuse the box and gift it to my daughter with all my beauty box overloads. I’m going to put a label on it that says ‘Not so’ next to Glossybox. LOL

I knew going in the items wouldn’t be the same as the UK version, I fully expected that. I’m still excited and will try to go without spoilers lol. I gift a lot of my box items to friends so I’m happy!

Lol I’m jealous!! I got my regular box today, not the advent yet. Hopefully that’s on its way tomorrow!

Mine was delivered to my local USPS this morning so it should be delivered tomorrow.

I received this from Glossy UK,
“Thank you for getting in touch with the GLOSSY team

Unfortunately at the moment the advent calendar is only available to our UK customers. We may look at releasing a US advent calendar in the future but for now you would not be able to purchase this one. ”
This was Sep 26th. This makes me think the items will not be the same and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s with a bunch of left overs. Hopefully this person was mistaken.

I noticed this too on the description page itself under details. They mentioned the 3 brands you named and also listed real techniques and that there would be 20 more items. I only see real techniques listed on the UK version tho…. there have been so many bait and switches with boxes and the like recently, I’m not as confident placing orders anymore…..
