I’m sampled out personally I cancelled Allure this month Glossybox and Birchbox

After months of mauve or red lippies and micro non usuable blenders

I will opt back on amazon for the Allure masks and December month but I just can’t with a 250 and up calander with micro samples and uncertain products

so they are finally shipping to the US? I wanted this so bad the first year it came out, like “try to figure out who you know in the UK so they can get it for you” bad. Wish it still had the liberty print on it. Passing this year, kinda over it

Lana

just realized that I was thinking of the Liberty calendar, same comments though

Luna

The Liberty advent calendar is now live too! 😀

I can see a couple really high priced items, as example the BLUE DIAMOND CONCENTRATE from Omorovizca costs $410 and it looks like it is half the size which would be $205 (would love to try that)! The Dr. Sebagh Serum Repair is also expensive and costs $80 and is full sized.

I think this is a very nice calendar.

I’d much rather spend $300 on one thing I know I’ll love than a bunch of samples, or even on full size favorites at Sephora. You could get a nice outfit with that money, or a great pair of high quality boots!! Or as someone else pointed out, a plane ticket!

Why can’t I get excited about calendars this year? The past few years, I’ve purchased just about every calendar there was. This year though, just can’t seem to. Hmmmm
I still have lots from those so I’ll have stocking stuffers for sure.

Is MSA censoring comments? FYI, NARS has started testing on animals.

Rosemary

Anything NARS is a hell of a no since they began testing on animals in order to enter the Chinese market.
Yes, they used to be cruelty-free. No, they don’t advertise that they changed their animal-testing policy.
For anyone who prefers cruelty-free products, avoid NARS at all costs. They are torturing animals because of greed, and nothing has changed in the formulation of their previously-cruelty-free brand.
So, this box is a hard miss for me.

Wow. Price too high. Advent calendars are getting too excessively expensive…. This calendar looks nice, but tops $100.

Mel

They must be high. $60 tops.

Looks like Sunday Riley Tidal not Luna based on the picture….
But for the price its an easy pass, sizes look way too small.

mini samples!

Luna

Hi Svetlana!
I saw IBE is selling early bird tickets to the LA IBE being held next January. I thought of you, and was wondering if you were going to go again next year. Are you, are you, are you??? 😀

Hi Luna, yes, I saw it, I got the e-mail. I was trying to purchase the ticket for VIP but they increased price by $100. I paid last year around $85, but this time, there is $15 fee, then $4 processing fee and it comes up to $176. I decided not to, because if it would be like last year, when I was unable to find babysitter, I would go just for the bag, but for this price is not worth it.

KarenG

I just saw that. If here’s interest, why don’t we post who’s going and maybe we can have drinks after or during! I’m going to plan on going unless I’m out of town for work. Luna, come to LA!

Deanne

If you’ve had sub boxes for awhile chances are you have a lot of those and they are NOT full size. $300???! Yeah no.

TK

So true! I have received most of this stuff and can’t justify almost $300.

Looking st this and the sizes I’m like that’s over two years of Ipsy! 28 ipsy bags! Or 38 Sephora play boxes! We’re still dealing with samples at the end of the day or 18 Macy’s beauty boxes or 18 allure with a chance of full size!

It’s pretty but I like to spread the wealth over the course of a year or two. This is 11 months of boxycharm! That would be 56 full size items! (11.2 was the math and multiplied by 5 so you get an extra full size item)

LR

…OR A PLANE TICKET INSTEAD! SO MUCH BETTER!

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

True!! And you get mini peanuts and pretzels with that! And a mini soda… so that covers the desire for little items!

Julie

28 Sephora play• finger slipped (that’s what she said)

Awesome calendar, but I just have to STOP myself!!! I have so many products that I have to use up before the expiration. I do not like waste at all. If I was going to get one, this would be the one I would choose from the ones that are available so far. Hopefully, this one doesnt go on sale, because I would end up grabbing it lol

JuJu

Lol, upon a first glance I was considering this, right up until I saw that price!

No, not for $300 🙂
