September 2018 Loot Crate DX Invaders Review

The September Loot Crate DX features some comfy pants and one awesome Venom beanie!

It comes with a fold-out information card that details the items in your box.

Invader Zim Pin - Value $5?

This month's pin isn't the large pin that I was used to, it's a size similar to the normal crate's pin - this month features Invader Zim.

Aliens Lounge Pants - Value $15-20?

My favorite item of the month is a pair of Alien-themed lounge pants. These have a bit of a "Christmas Sweater" vibe to the prints - I busted these out over the weekend and they're really comfortable.

Venom Beanie - Value $15-20?

This was a great idea for an exclusive beanie - first, worn normally, it's pretty awesome:

I've always been a big Venom fan, so I'm always happy to sport this.

For a little extra warmth, fold it down and keep the Venom vibe.

It's perforated so that you can see through.

It could be timed just right for a cold Halloween.

The X-Files Dimensional Post - Value $10?

The X-Files item is a 3D version of the classic 'I Want To Believe' poster.

it's pretty cool - and is pretty nice for a desk accessory.

Predator Glass - Value $10-15?

The final item in the box is a Predator-themed pint glass.

It's a sandblasted print in the glass - overall, this is a Predator design we've seen on past items, but I feel better getting something I'm 50/50 on when it's a more practical item.

Verdict: The two wearable items were my easy winners this month - but, overall, I wasn't blown away by everything as a whole. What did you think?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No – you can find the current month available at the top of their homepage. They are currently taking November subscriptions – every month’s cutoff date to order is the 19th of the month at midnight EST.
