October 2018 Mini Mystery Box by Jamminbutter Review
Each month we get an advertisement card that includes a new contest for a pretty cool gift. This month, it’s a Ring Doorbell! The back of the card also introduces a new way to snack through a monthly subscription, which we will start reviewing soon so keep an eye out!
We also get a monthly edition of The Regular which has all kinds of puzzles: word search, word fill in’s and connect the dots. This month’s theme is Halloween!
Krazy Flow Interacting Spring Toy – Retail Value $16.99
The first item we received in our random box is this really neat toy, described as a mesmerizing 3D kinetic sculpture.
It is one big piece and came in a multi-colored paint that reminds me of the color Chameleon that people use for their cars. Anyway, when we opened it, it was a flat circle.
This toy was so springy and fun! It instantly morphed into different shapes. This reminds me of a pumpkin with a ball on the inside.
This one I was able to pull the outer rings out and the middle got tighter.
And with this one, I made a flower! It’s a pretty interesting toy and my oldest daughter loved it. She was able to put it on one wrist, put her hands together and watched it go to the other. This would make a really great stocking stuffer!
Wynford Men’s Crew Socks
The next item we got in this month’s box are these premier quality crew socks.
They came in dark navy and are for shoe sizes 6-12 ½.
Star Wars Messenger Tote Bag – Retail Value $10.98
Full disclosure – I am not a Star Wars lover, or liker, so while it is understood many people will love this, I simply don’t and was disappointed that it was Star Wars. I liked the stars though, they were pretty and the bag itself was really cool.
This side image showed how wide it is. The bag measures at 15 inches tall, 13 inches wide and 5 inches deep.
It has two big pockets in the front in addition to the big one.
These pockets were big enough to fit my Kindle!
And the main pocket could fit my laptop, which is 15 inches I believe. Either way, it’s a pretty roomy bag. I am thinking it would be great for my son to take trick or treating next week.
Verdict: This month’s Mini Monthly Box of Awesome was really random with things I would ever just go out and buy. I officially am opinionated that this box is geared more towards men and don’t think I would ever receive a pair of pantyhose, but I am okay with that! For $9.99 with free shipping, this month’s box is also full of value. I estimate a retail value of about $28 not including the socks!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You can always sign up, but what you’ll get in your box is totally random!
Value Breakdown: This box costs $9.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box has an average cost of $2.50.
