BioDerma ABCDerm Cleansing Milk 16.7 FL OZ – Retail Value $16.90
Did you see that wet spot on my tissue when I opened my box? This is the culprit, but I was lucky that I didn’t lose a lot because this stuff is so amazing! It is lightweight and spreads so easy and doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my hands or my baby’s skin. Directions say to use a cotton ball to spread it, but I applied it with my hands and it seemed to work just fine. My baby doesn’t give me a lot of time to spread anything on her skin as she knows that we are about to nurse. I love this stuff and will be purchasing more when it runs low.
Swado Swaddle in Classic White Stripe – Retail Value $40
This was my favorite item in the box. It came with an introduction card describing this product, which I didn’t truly appreciate until I actually opened it.
First things first, though. This super amazing product comes inside a laundry bag.
It also has an instructional card and first-time use information.
At first, I thought, “Oh, a swaddle? We don’t do swaddles.” Truth is the only swaddles we used was our horrible attempts with muslin blankets or really big ones with obnoxious velcro. But this wasn’t like the others: it was soft, it was light, IT IS VELCRO-LESS. How can that be?!
Its got this material that just sticks, securely, to itself and it makes this the king of all swaddles. It is quiet, it is soft and it holds her in tight. It is amazing and I love it.
My baby has spent 4 nights of her entire little life in a swaddle; 2 nights in the hospital when she was first born and the last two nights in Swado.
Silky Soft Burpy Bib by aden+anais – Retail Value $12.95
This was also another really great item I received in the Noobie Nest.
This item also came with an introductory card from the makers and included a 10% code for my first purchase.
It is a burp cloth AND a bib - in one! Sent to us in the midnight pattern, it is a black and white theme with little stars on the back.
It has snaps on the back which allows you to transform it from a burp cloth to a wearable bib.
It fit my baby like a shaw and draped over her entire little body which is so ideal because as she is eating more and her tummy is expanding, she has occasional spit it, which sometimes is a lot. The fact that this burp cloth bib fits around her entire body protects the sides of her outfit for the days when she has her head turned and spits up allowing her to stay dry and comfortable.
4-Piece Baby Soft Take Me Home Set by Carter’s – Estimated Value $24.00 (A different design on sale here for $12.00)
This set it just such a great deal! It was sent to us in a size 3 months.
We got a long-sleeved sleeper, a matching hat, coordinating bib and a pair of dainty socks! The sleeper even has the sleeves that can be flipped over the hand to protect baby from her long nails or wandering fingertips she is learning to control. While this exact set was not available for purchase (I was able to locate it online, it just wasn’t available for purchase anymore) I was able to find like products in different designs by Carter’s in a girls design, a boys design, and a neutral design. Such a good deal for an entire matching outfit!
Union Jack JoJo Bunny – Retail Value $5.00
Awh, this is my baby’s first little plush toy. It is perfect for her as he is only 4.3 inches tall.
This plush is soft and is suitable for those who are even just days old. Although they won't play with JoJo, he is soft to the touch with sewn on eyes, big floppy ears, and a little cotton-tail.
JoJo is wearing a removable Union Jack sweater and his tag even has a To and From section for those who gift him.
PaciGrip by BooginHead – Retail Value $5.50
The final item in our Noobie Nest box is this paci holder sent to us in dot green.
It has a tie on one end for any type of pacifier and a snap holder on the other to attach to a car seat belt or clothing.
It works perfectly with our favorite type of paci and hopefully will make it harder to lose them (confession – I lost this pacifier hours after taking it off the PaciGrip.)
Verdict: This Noobie Nest box is amazing! Like the Pregnancy Box, whether you’re a first-time mom or a been-there-done-that mom, this box introduces you to amazing products that can be essential to baby’s first few months and get you through them. Again – I HIGHLY recommend investing the Swadco.
This box has significant value considering it is just $29.95, including free shipping. I was able to most of these products online and totaled $104.35.
