Postmark'd Studio "Be-Witching" PostBox Halloween Stationery Review
I love this itty bitty note from the curator of the box! It's barely the size of a business card, but it comes in a handsome, wax-sealed envelope!
The packaging of this box is so thoughtful! I love this spooky black ribbon.
Every box comes with a pencil. This month's pencil is a shimmery silver color.
You also always get a blank postcard. I'm not sure if I'd use this card, just because it feels a bit promotional with the logo there on the front. It's a cute idea for a promo item, though!
The info card for the box lists the theme ("Be-Witching") as well as the featured items inside. There are also some details about wax seals. Why? There's one in the box!!! How cool!
Pumpkin Witch Card by E. Frances Press - Retail Value $4.50
The watercolor pumpkins and delicately drawn witch on this card feel like something out of a Halloween children's book! I like how the pumpkins are sort of abstract as if they're just big polka dots floating across the face of the lightly textured card.
Witches Legs Card by Twin Ravens Press - Estimated Value $4.50
I found this same design online but in a slightly different colorway, but I estimate that the value is probably about the same. I like how sassy this card is! It reminds me of the witch's legs sticking out from under the house in The Wizard of Oz, except with a sultry twist!
Witches' Brew KB Paperie Card - Retail Value $5.00
This card is so cute! I love that the "witches' brew" actually looks to be a few bottles of champagne and some beautiful bottles of spooky spirits 🙂 I'm not a huge fan of creepy things, so I appreciate the cute, cheeky spin that this card gives the holiday.
Cackle Grackle by Burdock and Bramble - Retail Value $5.50
Aw, this blackbird card is actually pretty cute! I like how the hat is juuuust a smidge too big for this bird. It's also neat how the design wraps around the edge of the card.
Witch of the West Card by Rifle Paper Company - Retail Value $4.50
Ugh, I am just smitten with Rifle Paper Company! Each time I see another one of their designs, I fall even more deeply in love. This card is equal parts classic and quirky. I love the inky texture of the drawings and the green accent in the center. The flying monkeys around the edges of the card are super sweet, too!
Sealing Wax Kit
There's something about a wax seal that makes an envelope feel all the more austere! This kit includes black wax and a brass seal with a witch design in it. It's shockingly simple to do—just melt a bit of the wax by warming the end of the bar, and press the seal into the drop of wax to create the design. The kit includes some black and white twine, too, which you can seal down around packages!
Stamps
The best part about this box, in my opinion, is that it includes stamps! I'm always scrambling for a stamp, and the ones I end up with are usually pretty boring. These stamps are so unique! The style is crisp and modern, but the subject matter is whimsical and fun!
Bonus: Spider Ring
I also got a spooky spider ring. This little guy reminds me of the favors we'd get this time of year in elementary school!
Bonus: Hershey's Kisses Candies
I even got a handful of candy, and I didn't even have to go trick or treating to get it! Ah, the joys of adulthood...
Verdict: This box is so much fun! I love that it's a mix of cards and fun desk surprises, rather than just one or the other. I don't typically send out Halloween greetings, and this box has me asking myself, "Why the heck not?" It's such a fun holiday, and these quirky, playful cards rise to the occasion. The little extras, from the pencil to the candies, help make the experience feel even more like a special gift for myself.
