These advent boxes are way out of my league, and if I could afford them, I’d probably want something better. I can’t imagine who is buying these.

I have been looking for an advent calendar to send my mom. She’s a young 58 who loves skin care. That first box looks like it would be the best fit so far but the shipping is crazy! Can anyone recommend an advent calendar that would be a better value? She loves dark chocolate, drinking loose teas and skin care from department stores (Clinique for example) and higher end brands. Thank you!

While I can’t think of an advent calendar that has a variety of mass department store brands right now, I do know that a few of them like Clarins, Origins, Clinique, and Estee Lauder have their own advent calendars. Estee Lauder’s is pretty pricey though (I believe over $200). Clarins has come out with their 24-day calendar, and it’s $100. I’m not sure if the Origins or Clinique calendars have launched yet, but I’m pretty sure they were both under $100 last year.

As for chocolates, I’d recommend looking into Truffles in Paradise’s calendar when it launches. It doesn’t specialize in dark chocolate, but I got it last year, and not only are the chocolates sooo delicious, the attention to detail in the artwork to each piece was an experience in itself. They were seriously too pretty to eat! I didn’t eat the last piece until around February or March because I just wanted to look at them. haha!

More expensive advents with samples. Shouldn’t all of these advents be full sizes for the prices?

Yea the shipping is way too much and I would never pay it! I feel like I can get furniture shipped for that price lol

Actually, for $20 more I actually did just get my new recliner shipped to my home lol

I was looking forward to seeing this one but it’s a hard pass. I can (and have) gotten every one of those items as gwp except the Opium EDP (which I would like actually).

My wallet is happy at least.

Love these! Looks like a bunch of 100 point perks and gifts with purchase from Sephora. So I’ll probably just stick to getting them for free. Maybe I can put them in a nice box with lots of little openings though…

That’s exactly what I’m doing this year: over the past few months, I’ve tucked items I’m excited about from sub boxes into a box that I’ll hand over to hubby, along with an empty Look Fantastic advent calendar from last year. He’s to stock the calendar & give it back to me on Dec 1.
I’m creating the same for a few special family members 🙂

Oh what a great idea!!!

These look awesome – bit waaay out if my budget. Do they normally sell out?

I have a friend traveling home for Xmas and if these go on sale and she can pick it up for me, then maybe i could afford it!!!
