October 2018 Bam! Horror Box Review
This month features items from The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm St 3: Dream Warriors, IT, and Pumpkinhead.
BAM! Box Exclusive Pumpkinhead Fan Art Pins by ArtistLab Creature
This month I got a 1Up in my BAM! Horror Box which means I get a rarer exclusive collectible item - and that piece was the Pumpkinhead variant pin! Only 99 of this style was made—and I got one of them! How cool is that? As always, the back has two pins with the rubber clasps to keep your enamel pin in place. This will look great on a jean jacket or my faux leather biker jacket!
BAM! Box Exclusive “The Exorcist VHS” Fan Art Collection Art Print by Trevor Dunt
This may be my favorite piece included in this month’s box! There are two variants for the print. I love both styles, but I actually prefer the black and pink accent version I received. The print is signed by the artist and includes a certificate of authenticity.
BAM! Box Signing with Ira Heiden “Will/Wizard Master” from Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
Poor Lowrick, Prince of the Elves! He sadly didn’t stand a chance against Freddy! Here we have a signed 8x10 from Ira Heiden aka Will Stanton from Dream Warriors—pretty neat if you are a big Freddy fan such as myself!
Elm Street Metal Sign Prop Replica
I am loving the Nightmare on Elm Street theme in this month’s box. This metal sign is a replica of the street sign from the movies. This can be displayed along with the Ira Heiden signed photo for a killer set!
Richie Tozier Missing Poster from IT
Finally, we have a replica of the missing poster of Richie from IT. This poster was featured in the hauntingly creepy, 29 Nelbolt St scene. This is a neat addition to anyone’s Stephen King collection. However, my only issue is a piece like this could be replicated by most anyone that has access to a printer.
Verdict: October’s BAM! Horror Box had some hits and misses. My favorite piece far and away was the Exorcist print followed by the Nightmare on Elm Street pieces. I was excited to get one of the rarer variant pins! The Richie Tozier Missing Sign is a cool piece, but is not a rare piece and is a bit disappointing. I am hoping to see the November box have some exciting collectibles that make me want to say, “BAM!” out loud.
