I’ve had a shipping label for about a day, so I called & canceled with FedEx (1.800.GoFedEx/ 1.800.463.3339) Looking at previous years, it seemed like the basic formula was: smaller, less well-know palette, a full and/or travel size mascara, lipstick, some other eye and/or lip product. This year would be a really good deal for someone new to the company, but the Bon Bon palette has been on clearance a few times. Both that and the Melted lipsticks have been flooding discount stores for months.

I already have the Bon Bon palette. I got it when Ulta had it on clearance months ago. It’s OK, but nothing I need 2 of. The melted lipsticks are $7 at Marshall’s, but I’ve never been interested in them. There are a bunch of complaints about that eyeliner on the Too Faced website, so I hope they’re not trying to offload defective products onto people through a grab bag. Mystery bags are a gamble, but if this is the best guess, I’m glad I was able to cancel.

I bought right when the Cyber Monday deal opened on Sunday, only to see they released a different deal the next day. The tote bag is cute, so that and a useful mini-palette would have made this a good deal. They say to buy the mystery bags before they sell out, but then they needed to add $50 worth of additional product to move them-only available to people who didn’t really want this product in the first place. The whole marketing strategy left kind of a bad impression for me.

Nope. I ordered and was charged last Sunday and contacted CS, they just said it’ll take a while because of the big sale and “we promise it’s worth the wait.”

Anyone else picturing a warehouse of bonbon palettes? I know TJ Maxx had a stack of them. It seems weird to throw in all these extra things at the last minute.

Honestly, I am a little worried about that. The year stamped on the bonbon palettes at TJ Maxx were ALL 2015. There were 6 of them at my location. Makes me wonder if they have a large amount that has been just sitting there for 3 years and they finally are deciding to get rid of them.

I’m super bummed too! I just called customer service and they said they can’t do anything about orders placed before this promotion started. And of course it was too late to cancel. Grrr

Their customer service is so crappy. One purchase with them last week and I won’t again.
