I purchased the annual using the code in the special instructions box. I just got my shipping notice and it weights 3.5 pounds. Am concerned that the bag and candle are not in the box.

Would appreciate if someone would reply with how much their box weighs and if it is a regular Winter box or the first of an annual sub with the gifts.

Does anyone have experience with canceling a subscription and getting a refund on the next coming box? I ordered the winter box as a Christmas gift back in September but now I don’t need it. I emailed them but want to know what my chances are. I figured with the winter box being sold out and it’s Christmas they should have no problem filling that spot.

Nope. Last year I signed up like a week before Black Friday and they wouldn’t give me the deal of the free candle with annual.

I am a new subscriber starting with the Winter box. I was disappointed that I subscribed too early and missed the free gifts. I called Margot Elena customer service and was able to cancel my monthly sub and upgrade to the annual AND receive the free gifts. I hope this helps!

I tried to do the same, and they wouldn’t let me cancel my subscription, even though it was just 1 week after doing it. So I ended up with an annual to get the deal and now will get a second winter box 🙁 Hopefully I can gift everything.

Yeah, I tried the same and all I got was a condescending response about that being a coupon “for MSA readers” (of which I am one, or I wouldn’t have seen it) and they couldn’t do anything about my existing order, which I only placed days before. I hope I love the box, because I am not impressed with their customer service.

I think it’s a pretty good deal, but maybe I’m in he cast minority here. I bought an annual subscription for myself and one for my mother for Christmas gifts but I’m a little tempted to get a third one for gifts.

Me too. I’ve received a makeup bag in the gmail deals and a tote in my last box that both have the girl standing there with her arms out. It’s pretty much the only design I don’t like. 🙁

I subscribed for an annual gift sub to my sister-in-law after the fall box came, and her first box will be this coming winter one.

Too bad, though; she likes candles, and I think she’d have loved the tote. I wish they’d just send one or the other along with her new sub when it starts.

The Annual sub which runs $179.99 only cost me $126.00 (+ shipping). So that was a $53.99 discount.

Oh….this is a tough decision. I would have to open a second subscription to get this offer. I really like those bags and the candle. (I don’t know why because I hardly use candles, but there it is….)

I was really hoping for a discount to extend my subscription. I was most interested in the deal for this box out of all of them.

I guess I am among those who are a little disappointed. Why no love for current subscribers? Don’t the companies want us to stick around?

I know …..this is insane that almost all the best subscriptions are for new subscribers and sadly the deals I want I am already a seasonal subscriber and hoped to upgrade. Popsugar I would end up getting 5 boxes. Causebox is for new. ME I would of upgraded in a second….the days of the deals of 2 years ago would be such a dream. Oh tell me about it. I still think about that popsugar deal from 2 years ago…I think it ended up being $20 a box and you could stack subscriptions, potentially making the promotion last forever. I soooooo wish I’d added more and ended up with tons of credits for their new boxes. (Sigh…)

Before leaving for work today, I took my credit card out of the safe (hubs and I are trying desperately to get out of debt and locking them away seriously helps…), but I haven’t been tempted by a deal yet (well, momentarily tempted by PS but not enough to go for the annual upgrade).
