Buyer Beware!!! My winter box had the luna spilled all over. I sent a picture to CS. They are replacing the luna but the watch and the amika that were covered in oil are “fine they are only spotted with oil” Umm nooo there is blue oil all over which makes them ungiftable. They are unwilling to exchange the items. I have never seen such poor PS.

Buyer Beware! I received my winter box with the oil leaking all over the box. Finally received a response from customer service who stated they would replace the luna but not the watch or the amika that had oil all over it. They are ungiftable with grease stains all over them and I sent them a photo to prove it. They are refusing to exchange the items.

I sent more photos to show that this wasn’t just “surface damage”. They are now replacing my items that were damaged. Third times the charm I guess 🙂

I did not receive my box either. I checked Fed Ex shipping and it was returned to shipper due to multiple shipping addresses the next day. I get an email saying congratulations your box has been delivered. I called and emailed multiple times. Got a ticket number rach time and after 12 days with no response or box, I contacted my bank to dispute the charge.

I always have good responses with BOS, it takes them a couple of days to get back to you but they have always made good on issues that occurred. Good luck to everyone who purchased, this box was a nice one if you received the original Winter box and not the editors box.

I am filing a BBB complaint about their false advertising and lack of wanting to rectify it.
They offered me some cheap, useless replacements instead of the beauty bundle from Black Friday. I am beyond disgusted. You should be ashamed to put your name on this Rachel Zoe!!

I got the”Kopari duo,” which was toner and a lip gloss – I think it was the same package they were trying to dump for $14.99. I made it very clear in my emails to Support that it was not an acceptable substitute for what I purchased and was promised (by email confirmation) that I would receive; I did not agree to accept these products and call it all resolved. I posted about my experience on their Facebook page. BBB is a good idea.
But we may be the lucky ones, based on the number of comments I’ve read about people who never even got a response. Folks, before you buy from BOS, please consider who you’re doing business with and whether they deserve your money. Whatever it is that you like so much you can find somewhere else, if you really want it. And you may or may not ever get what you think you’re buying.

The exact same thing happened to me. When I told them that their $3 mascara was an unacceptable replacement for a $40 lipstick, the told me the the beauty bundle was a “free gift while available” and told me they were canceling my subscription. (Which they haven’t actually done yet.) What a terrible company. I hope posts about their future promos can come with a warning that they probably won’t deliver and will treat their customers terribly in the process.

I wish Box of Style cared more about their existing subscribers instead of obtaining new subscribers. They need to give their existing subscribers discounts/deals instead of giving it to their new subscribers all the time.

Exactly. Special deals for new subscribers isn’t unique to BOS. Your cable company does it, your gym does it, it’s SOP. That’s the least of their issues.

Still haven’t received my box and have been a subscriber for over a year. Sent an email to customer service and no response yet other than they are very busy and will get to me eventually. I’m really not pleased.

Ya, if they’d do things right and up front from the beginning, they wouldn’t have all of these customer service issues to deal with. In case I ever start a business, I’m learning tons from them of what to not do, and of what to do in contrast. I try to learn from every experience and that’s what I’m getting out of this one so far.

Same. And I bought several items for gifts (plus purchased the gift wrap kits!) and have received nothing and, like you, no meaningful response from customer service beyond “we’re busy.” Very frustrating.

Me three, and that seems to be true of everyone who ordered the Beauty Bundle. BOS simply failed to ship two of the three promised items. Customer service has offered me either a Kopari duo or some tassel earrings in return, but has given me no information about either one.
Buyer beware on this one. As much as I like my new tote and watch, especially, this company is at best incompetent and at worst dishonest.

I was so close to splurging on that deal. I wanted the lipstick and palette more than the box though, which seemed silly, so I held off. Now I see that no one actually got the lipstick and palette. So glad I dodged that bullet, and angry for those that were scammed.

I think the company needs to focus on correcting all of the orders that did not have the advertised items before taking on additional ad campaigns.

I ignored all of the warnings about Box of Style because the Black Friday Beauty Bundle was such a great deal. Huge mistake. BoS didn’t send me what they advertised and then offered to send me much cheaper items instead. Their customer service is awful and advertising is fraudulent. Be really, really careful with this company.

Same here. I still haven’t received any response. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth trying to dispute part of the charge for the box with my cc company. Not sure if it’s worth the hassle. Lesson learned though, will never buy anything from BOS again.

Ditto here. I contacted Oribe and Smith and Cult to set if it was their problem, and they assured me they sent their products for the beauty bundle to box of style. Interesting way to run a business.. Be aware, potential buyers. BOS won’t even respond to my questions.
