I ditto Michelle’s words to use caution in subscribing to this box. I had purchased an annual subscription specifically because you could pause boxes if they weren’t to your liking, and with the annual you could customize. With one box remaining on my annual, I decided to pause the most recent box (first time I’d ever done that) as none of the spoilers were of interest. Their customer service agent confirmed my pause via email. Then guess what…the supposedly “paused” box arrived anyways… right before I left for an extended trip. Since I hadn’t customized since I wasn’t supposed to even get the box, I was sent pierced earrings when I don’t have pierced ears, and the poncho in a color I would never wear. When I contacted them to let them know their response was basically “too bad so sad”…that even though I explained I’m currently on an extended trip, and this was THEIR MISTAKE…I need to figure out a way to return the box they mistakenly sent me, or they will consider my sub ended and NOT send me the next box that I should still be due. So now I have to go to the hassle to figure out how to get the box I didn’t even want in the first place back to them when I’m several thousand miles away…and to be honest after their sending it when it was supposed to be paused, I don’t even feel confident that they will credit me correctly when I do return the box. (Something to note, as well…it’s actually law that if a company mistakenly sends you something, you are NOT required to return it…but they are violating this.) Up until this point I’d had good experiences with them, but needless to say I will not be renewing my subscription!

That is horrible. Especially since it really is an easy fix to make a customer happy. Other subscriptions would have said “Oops our mistake. Keep the winter box. We will be sending you the spring box as your last annual subscription.”
I was sent an email saying that since my subscription was cancelled there was nothing they could do to refund the $15. Interestingly they did not respond until a week later on Jan 3rd. I asked if they would honor the $15 discount on the Spring box.
Answer: No but, I should look out for upcoming discounts.
Guess who did not order multiple winter boxes. Me! I really like the box and if only their customer service was better I would recommend them. And I would have ordered more in the future. I know being in the IT industry they could have credited my account. Choosing not to honor things is a poor customer service decision. Sorry AH that this happened to you. Sounds like as an annual subscriber they should make things right with you.

Wow Michelle…I can’t believe they wouldn’t even honor the $15 discount on the upcoming box. That’s really poor customer service. I’ve been really surprised at the poor CS they’ve displayed lately. As an alternative to returning the box they offered me the option to get the next box at the “reduced” annual rate of $49.95 rather than the $54.95 single box rate…which I declined because I have no interest in committing to a box without spoilers, for a “whopping” $5 discount, LOL. As I really don’t want the box in the version they mistakenly sent me, I am going to return it to them (they did send me a return label at least), but I really shouldn’t have to since this was 100% their error. It really seems like for the ill will they’ve generated, they would’ve been way better sucking it up and taking the loss for sending the wrong box. Plus, are they now going to send out the items in the box I’ve opened, to other people? The box is now sold out, so I’m not sure what they will even do with the items they’re making me return. Overall, their handling of both my and your situations has really left a bad impression…and for a company that claims to promote being ethical, it doesn’t seem they’re really behaving that way…

Absolutely love this box. The poncho is beautiful, I received a ton of compliments on it at Christmas eve. The value is phenomenal for $40. The earbuds are a great brand, the planner is great, the earrings are lighter than I expected, and I can’t wait to try out the facial steam.
Highly recommend if you are considering getting this box.

Be careful ordering this. I ended up getting charged the 54.95. The code for Winter15 did not apply. Because I had ordered this box in the past I logged in using my old email. Somehow a continue button ended up submitting the order using an old credit card without allowing me to enter the discount code. It also charging a credit card I used previously that I don’t use anymore. I contacted them immediately via email ( last night). Today I sent a message in Facebook messenger and got an immediate response to email them. A little frustrated that they send a messenger back on less than five minutes but cannot email me back to help resolve this. Also the order does not appear to have my name on it.
Just wanted to tell others to pay attention when ordering this box.
I was thinking of ordering one or two more to gift but will hold off since their site seems off.

Just wanted to say that I absolutely loved everything in that box. I admit i probably wouldnt be using the jade roller much but the planner, the headphones (nothing in common quality wise with the FFF cobra ones) and the poncho are amazing!!!

I was very happy with this box. I really like the shawl, it’s super soft and I like it’s made of viscose. It says it’s ethically made in China, and if that’s true, so much the better.
The other stuff was sort of “blah” for me, though my daughter really digs the jade roller – though I know these are ridiculously cheap.

I love this particular box! Unfortunately my DH bought me an annual sub and didn’t realize I bought the box as a stand-alone. I have an extra planner, cream scarf, jade roller, facial steam, and headphones. Whoops! Fortunately I got the earrings in one box and the necklace in the other so matching set!

I’d buy the scarf and/or planner, if you want to sell either. I don’t know if it’d be worth your effort, though, since I can get the whole box for $40 today. But let me know if you want to get rid of extras for a good price. 😁
