This $59.00 tote comes with two pieces—one I pick, plus one they pick for me. You can also pick member-priced add-on items to toss in with your order. This is my first Golden Tote bag, but I’ve seen reviews of this subscription before, so I couldn’t wait to see what my stylist picked out for me.

Lazy Sundays Cozy Color Block Sweatshirt, Medium - Retail Value $35
I would like to introduce you all to my new favorite sweatshirt! The lining of this plush sweatshirt is so soft and is keeping me very warm as I am writing this. The fabric (a blend of rayon, polyester, cotton, and spandex) has a lot of stretch to it, and I love the romantic colors of this geometric pattern. I feel this pattern is also very flattering without being fitted (you can see all the extra room I have in the second photo), with the dark colors on the side pointing in towards my waist. I did notice that this sweatshirt is quick to wrinkle after a little lounging, but the wrinkles are easy to fix after a quick steam.
Grey Tuxedo Jeans, SIze 9/29 - Retail Value $45, Member Price $38
These jeans were my pick for this month’s tote because I have nothing like them in my rotation. I was so excited to try a different brand of jeans but also nervous because of sizing. These jeans are supposed to be a cropped fit (above the ankle); however, I knew that that would not be the case since I am only 5’3. Surprisingly, the length fit me perfectly, falling right at my ankles! I am very happy with the general fit through my hips and thighs, too, and I think after one wash in hot water, the excess fabric through the knee and calf region will be more form fitting. This soft to the touch, thick fabric (74% cotton, 21% polyester, 3% viscose, 2% spandex) will definitely keep my legs warm this winter, and give my style a bit of edge this season.
Hem & Thread Zip Cardigan, Medium - Estimated Value $40
I couldn’t find this cardigan anywhere on the internets, so I guesstimated its value based on other items in the Golden Tote Boutique. It was chosen by my stylist, and I feel like it is a perfect match. I love the relaxed fit and the versatile styling you can achieve with a plain grey cardigan. I’ve never had a zip-up cardi, but I really like the look. The fabric on this sweater is so soft and high quality; I am sure this is a staple that will last for years to come.
The Verdict: This month my stylist at Golden Tote really impressed me with her classic pick. The fitting and quality of Golden Tote’s pieces are superior to what I’ve seen in stores recently, and I love the element of surprise built into the Mini Tote. Their chic styles range from modern to classic, and I always look forward to seeing all the fresh patterns and shapes they have to offer each month.
