October 2018 Halo Legendary Crate Review
The October box was late - this arrived late November - and was themed 'Scout'.
The information sheet is a rolled up poster on one side. This month's poster is just awesome - definitely frame-worthy.
On the back – you’ll get all of the details on your items. It also always has an XBox code for digital in-game content.
UNSC Data Drop – Value ?
The boxes typically come with a 'Data Drop'. This month's data drop was a bit less involved than the typical data drop - but, that being said, this Mongoose blueprint is pretty great.
Mongoose Pin - Value $5?
This month continues the Halo vehicle pin set with the Mongoose - a classic Halo vehicle.
UNSC Scout T-shirt - Value $15?
The exclusive shirt was a graphic that I actually like, but would probably be considered pretty basic. Nevertheless, I actually like this style a lot.
Noble Team Battle Scarf - Value $15?
Represent the Noble team with this UNSC scarf. As a scarf, it's pretty thin - so don't expect this to help in the winter, but if it's just for show, then you'll be good to go.
Noble Team Mug - Value $10-15?
This is my favorite item in the box, hands down. This Noble Team mug is a bigger mug - more of a big ol' tea mug - and is brandished with the Noble team crest.
Halo Icons June-A266 – Value $25?
This month's figure goes with the marksman theme of the shirt.
They're highly-detailed little vinyl figures with the big head style.
The figure line can be interlocked together at their bases - they just sit connected, but aren't actually locked together. Typically, this is my favorite part of the box, but the mug takes the cake this month.
Verdict: When the boxes arrived super late, it definitely dulls my excitement quite a bit. Overall, I like the shirt, figure, and mug this month - and that covers the bigger ticket items in the box, so I'm pretty happy with the curation this month. What did you think?
To Wrap Up:
Can I still get this box if I sign up today? No, the current theme can be found on their landing page.
