These are the questions from the Style Profile that you fill out when you set up your account. They also ask for your Instagram name which is how they track which earrings you comment on and like so they can possibly include them in a future box.
This is the card that was included in the box to describe which style of earrings I received. This month I received two pairs of Funky & Fun earrings which is exactly what I requested for the holidays. This had the potential to be a little outside my comfort zone, so I was excited to see what they would send!
Gold Fleck Drop Earrings - Estimated Value $18 (based on the price of similar earrings in their shop)
These are definitely much bigger than I usually wear, but I love that detail of the gold flecks in the clear and black acrylic disk! It's such a fun and unique way to add some flare and sparkle to the earrings. I think these will be perfect for dressing up a little black dress for New Year's! While these are funky & fun, I also think that the simple colors make them a bit more classic and sleek which is more my style preference.
These have a nice long drop but are still very lightweight and comfortable to wear. A perfect mix of funky & fun for sure!
Gold Sparkle Fan Earrings - Estimated Value $18.00
These really have me thinking of Egyptian fans for some reason with the gold details and that fun flared semicircle at the ends. The sleek gold bar in the center contrasts nicely with the textured black and silver sparkle of the bottom. I think that these are pretty and fun. I do wish they had a different backing on them as they were a little loose in my ears, but that's something I can easily swap out myself!
These are pretty unique looking when they are on due to where the post sits which raises the bar slightly higher on my earlobe. I think it makes them an interesting pair and I'm not quite sure what type of style outfit to pair this with yet, but I think they will be fun to show off!
This is the feedback form that you fill out once you receive your earrings. I like that they ask you what you would like to see next time. It makes it so easy to change up your style preferences for the next month or to request something specific!
The Verdict: I am having fun requesting different sizes and styles of earrings from HangSquad each month. Somehow they manage to meet my varied requests while still keeping my style preferences in mind. The earrings this month were funky & fun, but the gold and black details made them both feel like a sleek and classic option for me to wear to dress up my wardrobe for the holidays. It's exciting to open up that box each month and be pleasantly surprised with what they choose for me. It's definitely a unique subscription that provides attractive, quality pieces each month!
