Julep Living Large Mystery Box Review
It’s Balm Full-Coverage Lip Crayon in Fuchsia Berry Cream, Full-Size! Retail Value $20
This is a vivid magenta cream lip color that works as an insanely pigmented lip balm for me. It is made with sunflower butter and Vitamin E, and this color will transfer. If you’re looking for some hydrating lip colors, this would be worth checking out.
When Pencil Met Gel Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Galaxy, Full-Size! Retail Value $16
I really like the gel pencil eyeliners from Julep - I find them to be creamy and buttery to apply, you can blend them out, and it will stay put! Galaxy is a black amethyst shimmer, but unfortunately, the purple tones don’t show up in real life like they do on the website. Bummer, because I would have loved that!
Feels Like Velvet Full-Coverage Eyeshadow Duo in 5th Ave and Broadway, Full-Size! Retail Value $24
Julep eyeshadows are one product I haven’t really tried from them, so I was happy to see this baby palette containing a dup of super wearable shades. 5th Ave is a light matte peach and Broadway is a rose gold shimmer, and each shade can be worn alone or together depending on the look you are going for. The pigment is a bit sheer that can be built up, but I don’t really think it fits the “full-coverage” name.
Here are the shadows swatched above the eyeliner and the lip balm.
Lock Down Your Brows Iconic Brow Gel, Full-Size! Retail Value $22
I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my brows - I usually do a few swipes of my gimme brow and call it a day. This clear gel can be worn alone to help define and shape, and it can also be used to set your brows if you’ve shaded them in. This didn’t leave my brows crunchy, which is a big selling point for me when it comes to a brow gel.
Julep Nail Polish in Cozette, Full-Size! Retail Value $14
Cozette is a peacock teal shimmer that I absolutely adore! The formula applied perfectly with no pooling and it is the shade that is adorning all ten of my fingers as I type this review!
Julep Nail Polish in Kayleigh, Full-Size! Retail Value $14
Kayleigh is a holly berry iridescent shimmer- aka it is a great holiday red with a hint of sparkle! This had a great formula and applied effortlessly with two coats.
Julep Nail Polish in Rosemary, Full-Size! Retail Value $14
Rosemary is called a modern brick cream, but to me, it leans a lot more camel-brown than brick red. Almost all cream polishes I have tried from Julep had great formulas, and this is no exception.
Julep Nail Polish in Tazi, Full-Size! Retail Value $14
I absolutely love this shade! One of my all-time favorite polishes from Julep is Claudia, and this is like a less glittery sister! This is described as a holographic iridescent lime, and I was surprisingly pleased with the opacity at two coats- I thought this would need to be layered or require three coats, but two did the job for me. One coat of this layered over a dark green would be absolutely dreamy, too.
Julep Nail Polish in Jane, Full-Size! Retail Value $14
Jane is described as a full-coverage rose gold glitter, but I would say it leans more copper. It took 3 coats for me to build up to full opacity, which means the polish started to get a little thick and it took forever to dry. I would recommend using this with a copper base coat polish, and then one coat should provide enough glitter without becoming thick. You can see Jane swatched here in my 12-piece gift review.
Here are the rest of my swatches! From left to right we have Cozette, Tazi, Kayleigh, and Rosemary.
Verdict: This Julep Living Large Mystery Box had a great mix of fun nail polish shades and new beauty products! I was also pleasantly surprised that there were no duplicates between this box and the Julep Small Delights Mystery Box that was offered at the same time as this one. Value-wise, Julep promised a $150 value and by my math, they beat that with a total value of $152. If you have been curious about trying Julep, their mystery boxes are really a great way to try out products from the brand for a fraction of the cost.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, this is no longer available.

- Eyeshadow: $5.52
- Brow Gel: $5.06
- Cozette: $3.22
