Menlo Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my style profile is “Casual”.

December 2018 Menlo Club Review

Menlo Club November 2018 - Box With Both Products Top

This delivery was short and sweet - a dress shirt and a hoodie.

Hoodie

This as an easy pick as a favorite this month. It's a heavier hoodie - and the lining isn't super soft (like fleece or something like that), instead, it feels a bit more rugged.

On top of that, I love the style and color - this is one of my new go-to hoodies.

Dress Shirt

The second item is a dress shirt. While I don't really need a new dress shirt right now, a classic white dress shirt isn't a terrible clothing item to have more of - I never seem to have them when I need them.

Verdict: This hoodie is just awesome - that alone makes me very happy this month. The dress shirt is nice, too, it's just that I don't necessarily need it right now - but I'll have it when I need it.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All Menlo Club deliveries are based on your profile, so you're not guaranteed to get the same delivery as me.

I recently got my first box from Menlo Club. The first thing that I noticed was that the fabric quality was very low and everything was made in China. They sent pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and a pair of sunglasses on promo for $30. The pants were only measured in the waist, necessitating significant hemming. They are so low quality that it’s not worth it to take them in somewhere to be hemmed.

Based on the quality of the fabrics, Menlo Club definitely isn’t losing money by selling half-priced boxes at $30. The fabric reminds me of Walmart clothes 20 years ago. They’re probably coming from the same factory.

Have been a member of Menlo Club since it was Five Four and I love the new style. Always loved the Jeans (great quality) but not with the GRAND AC clothes and New Republic Shoes apart of the subscription it is the best. Also, now that they sell individual items you get 20% off all items automatically so the deals are great. I love my subscription and looking forward to the shoes I’m receiving shortly.

Thanks for reviewing this box. I signed up for my husband for Christmas and I love everything I got. I got the deal with the free shoes sunglasses and shirt. The shoes are all leather and amazing. Everything fits great and he loves them. On a side note…I didn’t receive the free glasses and I called them and they were so helpful. The are sending them with another bonus shirt for their mistake with my December shipment. I thought the customer service was great!!! Maybe you just need to call them instead of email. Love my Menlo club for my husband.

I took advantage of the BF deal to try the club out. I never saw anything in my account regarding a record of the first box. I was charged for the box. Two weeks later I e mailed them asking about the status? They said that they were busy with BF orders.

I kept getting e mails about ordering extra for my December box only. I then decided to pause my DEC shipment, until I was sure that this first box was actually in the works.

Lo and behold on a day ago, I received an e mail confirming that I cancelled the account!!!

No mention of a refund or anything? Not sure what is going on here???
Did this happen to anyone else? It seems hard to believe that this would be intentional?
