November 2018 Mini Monthly Box Of Awesome For Dogs Review

Our latest delivery from Pet Treater sent us 4 items.

Pet Treater now has a shop - they sent out a $5 off coupon to all subscribers.

This month had a lot of different dog-specific coupons, too.

It's time to review with this stubborn little pup.

Official Turkey Tester Bandana - Value $10?

This month comes with a wearable item - and was perfect for the dog at your side during Thanksgiving dinner.

Even when we wrapped it up to make it smaller, it was still pretty silly looking on Buckles.

This is Buckles saying "Get to the treats!"

Himal Dog Treats Cheesy Puff - Value $4.57 on Amazon

The only treat this month came from Himal Dog Treats. These are big ol' cheese puffs made from yak and cow milk - and they are hard as a rock, so it's more like a chew.

Buckles was incredibly frustrated and unsuccessful in his journey to eat this cheese puff.

Petrageous Designs Toy - Value $10-15?

This month's toy features a squeaker and a crinkle paper body - definitely enough to keep Buckles busy.

At least, I thought so - he didn't seem very interested in this month's toy - so this will have to be gifted.

Fou-Stick Soothe Stick - Value $12.66 on Amazon

The last item is more to help your pet. This stick is made to help with irritated and dry skin. Simply apply this like a balm to the affected area - plus, it's made with natural ingredients.

Verdict: This month was a bit of a miss for our dog. While the value is definitely there, he couldn't really eat the treats and wasn't interested in the toy - those are always the two big items in this package for us. But, I'm sure he was in the minority here, since he's a bit of a picky dog.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you're not guaranteed the same items as seen here.

COUPON – Not at this time.

I find it funny that others say the bandanas are to big — I find them too small! I definitely do not consider my dogs large breeds (1 adult husky, 45 lbs, and 1 malamute pup, 80 lbs). I also got a duplicate petrageous toy this month, but was glad for it as my boys love to tug. I think I love my pet treater mini box more than my pupbox. The mini provides ‘just enough’ goodies for my pooches and doesn’t break bank. However I do miss the one ‘human’ item I usually get each month (or please at least give larger bandanas! Lol). I hope pet treater bring the human items back soon. 2 bandanas in a row that neither my boys nor I can use is kind of a bummer considering the size of the subscription.

This month was such a miss for us. We got the same toy as Oct just in a different color. The treats were so hard Bam Bam was not interested. We don’t use the repeated stick we got this summer and the bandannas suck because they are made for huge dogs and never ever fit.

After getting our first Barkbox this is on the chopping block in Jan if Dec doesn’t wow us.

If you microwave the treats they expand and also get softer/crunchier, like a cheese puff, for Buckles to eat. Try for 30 seconds at a time but watch carefully so they don’t burn and they are very hot when they first come out.

Yeah this one or a different brand was on Shark Tank. Matter a fact can they make a Shark Tank subscription box please!

Yes Abby, my dog loves them soft and puffy. Buckles is so adorable.

We have been getting this subscription for the small dogs and the bandanas are always ridiculously big. We finally cancelled.

I’m assuming that’s because they use the same size for the large dogs too. Mine is about 65 lbs so he isn’t even giant but there is barely enough material left to tie them around his neck when pulled tight. I did get a different pattern for Thanksgiving but they still look similar in size.
