Robb Vices is a monthly luxury subscription box that sends subscribers a carefully curated assortment of high-end lifestyle goods that help you indulge your vices. Look forward to accessories, home decor, electronics, food, kitchen gadgets, and booze, booze, and more booze! The subscription is somewhat geared towards guys, but we've found that most of their boxes are perfectly unisex.
The packaging is a real showstopper. It's kind of like opening a suitcase in a Bond movie.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Robb Vices November 2018 Review
This month's box is coffee themed!
The box comes topped with a thorough booklet about the items inside. There are brand spotlights, an editor's note about the curation, and even some recipes in this month's mini magazine!
I got a few little extras in the box, including this coupon to New York Prime Beef.
I also got a card about different gifting options, including "Vices Reserve", the subscription box's new shop.
Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur - Retail Value $39.96
This coffee liqueur has a nice deep flavor. I'm a big fan of White Russians, and I'm thinking that incorporating this bitterly sweet liqueur with some fresh cream and vodka would make for a slightly richer version of the Kahlua-based cocktails I'm used to. It could also be a nice addition to a boozy mocha milkshake! Apart from the taste, I just liked the handsome design of the bottle. It looks prim and proper sitting on my bar.
Alessi Pulcina, 3-Cup Coffee Maker - Retail Value $90.00
This coffee maker is so cute! It's got plenty of European flair and sophistication, which is fun to have sitting in my very ho-hum Pennsylvanian kitchen. The idea is that you put water and coffee in the bottom chambers of the coffee maker, then set it on a low-heat stovetop to steep. The coffee actually bubbles up the carafe, so that you can pour high-quality coffee right out of the pitcher-style top once it's done. They make 6-cup versions, but I'm happy with this 3-cup one. It's more than enough for my coffee habits.
La Colombe Cornerstone Coffees Corsica Roast, 12 oz. - Retail Value $13.00
I got some new coffee to go with my Pulcina! The coffee did come as whole beans rather than grounds—I would've been happier to skip the grinding step, but I understand that whole beans probably lead to a fresher tasting blend after shipping. This coffee was deep and rich with chocolatey notes to it, but personally, it didn't strike me too differently than the darker roast coffees I might get at Starbucks. Keep in mind, however, that I do like Starbucks pretty well and that I'm not the most discerning coffee drinker, either!
La Colombe Draft Latte Variety 3-Pack - Buy a 4-Pack for $12.00 here
I've never tried a latte from a can before, and to be honest, it didn't really wow me. I did appreciate the smoothness that the "draft" brought to each can (I got vanilla, triple, and original), and the slight sweetness was nice. I would happily drink one of these chilled, pop-top cans as a grab-and-go option when I was on my way to work or out to run holiday errands, but I can't say I'll pick them up again. (I think I've seen these at my local Whole Foods, so if I did crave 'em, I know where I can find them!)
Madame Paulette Professional Stain Remover Kit - Buy 5 for $39.99 here (Found here for $29.99)
I thought this was a fun, cheeky addition to this box. Coffee spills are no fun, especially if you're at or on your way to work. So these little packets absorb, treat, and rinse stains away via easy to use wipes. I think this is pretty clever, and nothing I'd ever think to keep on hand myself. I did a little test and found that they're pretty darn effective—much more immediately effective than my usual Tide stain stick, which tends to just pre-treat stains for the laundry later.
Verdict: I liked that this month's Robb Vices box touched on coffee but didn't forget to include the unique alcohol that so many subscribers look forward to from this subscription! I'm keeping all of these items for myself, but I could see gifting the Pulcina or the coffee liqueur to someone if coffee flavors aren't your thing. Everything is SUCH nice quality. And the presentation of this box really knocks it out of the park. (I feel like it looks like a James Bond briefcase!) If you're looking for an impressive gift, this subscription box is one I'd recommend. One thing I will note, however, is that the retail value of the items inside doesn't quite reach the total cost (including shipping) of the box. (Estimating the values of the stain kit and coffee cans, I got a total of about $157.96, while the cost + shipping is $174.90.) Obviously you're paying for the curation and the presentation as well, but just know this box isn't a deal, so much as it's a handsomely curated experience.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Sign up by the 1st of the month to receive that month's box.
LIMITED TIME DEAL: Use coupon code KNOCK60 to save $60 when you sign up for a 3-month or longer subscription! (Regularly $389.85 for a 3-month subscription.)
Value Breakdown: This box cost $174.90 (cost + $14.95 shipping to PA). The items I could find individual retail values for totaled $142.96, meaning the remaining value that should be made up by the stain remover kit and coffee trio is $31.94.
