The Anfield Box 10 November 2018 Review
It's cold. It's rainy or snowy. It's the weekend morning - what else is there to do but have a coffee and watch Liverpool go top of the league?
It comes with this information card. They've never listed all of the items in the box, but they try to highlight the big-ticket ones.
Terry Shawl Bathrobe - Value $45 based on similar items
Ah yes, let's start right here with the BEST item in the box - a 100% cotton terry shawl robe. It's warm, soft, and has the perfect sleeve length sleeve for me. The downfall? Liz has stolen it as her own!
We've been battling over this thing for the past week or so - it's perfect for those really early games where I'm literally rolling out of bed as it starts.
Signed Jordan Henderson Print - Value ??
Wow. This is why I subscribe. This is hand signed by the current LFC captain exclusively for this box. I like collected signed items (jerseys, mostly), so this is right up my alley.
Winter Gloves - Value $25 based on lesser gloves
Meet my new winter driving gloves. In that 5-10 minutes before the steering wheel is warm enough to drive gloveless, I've been using these LFC embroidered gloves. I like these above most others that I've received because it has a bit of grip/non-slip on the palms - perfect for driving.
Wall Calendar - Value $17
Finally, we received a large 2019 player calendar. We're all hoping that 2019 is a special year for this club.
Verdict: I've been consistently impressed by what they've delivered. It's a higher price box - but when the deliver items like hand-signed prints or game-used netting, that's when they're at their best. I'll use or display every item this quarter - and the fact that Liz has been stealing this robe goes to show how nice it is - big win.
