Trees/ Striped Bib Set - Estimated Value $19.00 (value based on a similar set)
What a great set for the holidays! I love that there are two completely different options. The very simple black and white design with trees or the very colorful stripes are both great options to accent any holiday attire.
This month our hat is reversible as well. Here is a closeup of the red and green striped side which is made of a nice soft cotton.
This is the reverse side of the bib and hat which has a slight sheen to the cotton, making it feel just a bit silky. Even though this side has a print on it, it feels very minimalist thanks to the simple color scheme. I really think it is adorable and he'll be able to wear this for the duration of winter! This bibdana also has two different snap settings so that you can adjust it to fit your baby comfortably. The material is very soft and the thickness is just enough to catch the mess without being too heavy to cause sweating.
As you can see, big brother decided to crash our pajama photo shoot! I love the way you can see the reverse side of the hat when you roll up the bottom. It makes the design even more fun to me.
Red Knit Pom Pom Beanie
This red hat was an adorable bonus item in our box this month! I love that they included a different type of hat and one that is so perfect for winter. I was worried that it would shed a bit when he wore it since there were a lot of little fibers in the bag, but I didn't notice any shedding when he wore it out.
How cute is this hat? Bennett wore it over to my mom's for a gathering and he got a lot of oohs and aahs when he walked in the door wearing this! Since they had just gotten their tree, it made a perfect backdrop for a photo. I love the little straps that hang down and the fact that there are two pom poms. Adorable!
Mini Swag Buffalo Plaid Bow Tie - Retail Value $14.00
We even received another bonus item this month and again, it is adorable! This buffalo plaid bow tie is adjustable and so easy to put on. He can wear it on the smallest setting so that means this will last him for a few years probably. It seems like a quality piece for sure and it's from a small business, which is awesome. They even included a coupon for 15% off, which I might have to use to get brother a matching bowtie!
Here is Bennett modeling his new bowtie! I know his outfit isn't ideal for modeling it, but I wasn't up to wrestling him into a button up shirt that day! Haha.
Verdict: I cannot get over how adorable everything was in The Boy Box this month! It was cuteness overload for sure and I am so appreciative to have all these fun pieces for him! I would have been happy just to receive the bidbana and hat that we normally do since the colors and patterns were great and so festive, but I love that they included that practical knit hat as well! Receiving the bowtie just put it over the top as being an incredible box for me and I'm sure the items will thrill others as well. Just based on their bib sets that retail for $19.00, we received a great value for the $12.98 ($9.99 + $2.99 shipping) cost of the box, but if you add in the bowtie that brings the total value we received to $33.00 which is awesome! Of course, neither of those include that adorable red beanie which might even be worth the price of the subscription itself to me!
