November 2018 Vinyl Me, Please Review
The November shipment was a bit delayed - which they were very communicative about - and featured Queen's A Night at the Opera.
Vinyl Me, Please has condensed their presentation entirely into the LP – which I think has been a great transition. You’ll now get the album information along with the drink mix right on the sleeve of your gatefold.
It’s also accompanied by an LP-size piece of artwork. This month’s artwork comes from Megan Bowker.
Queen - A Night at the Opera
This was meant to be timed perfectly with the release of the Bohemian Rapsody movie - but due to some delays, it missed the premier. Let me just say, it's well worth the wait.
The pressing itself is a piece of art. It looks beautiful by itself and even been when spinning on your turntable.
The album itself is, of course, an absolute classic. Front to back, it's such an easy listen - sit back and take it in. While I own all Queen albums on vinyl, I'll never be mad about received an exclusive pressing like this one, it's beautiful all around - like the music itself.
Verdict: As soon as I heard that the featured album was A Night at the Opera, I knew this month could do no wrong in my eyes. Even with delays, this was one of my favorite months of the year.
