In December Julep was part of a bankruptcy filing with Laura Gellar. It’s public info. Sounds like a restructure but I’m not taking chances.
My cc was was hacked and the bank changed my card.
I’m just not updating payment until I see how this plays out. My card is closed. Something doesn’t smell right.
I did skip this month though so I had an email receipt and they didn’t send one. Looked like a hot mess.

This feels identical to when Sample Society became Allure Beauty Box. And subsequently completely nosedived into ludicrously low-end products with laughably low box values. I stuck with them for the following year to see if they would get it together. Plus, like, I’d been with SS since it was literally created. But the loyalty didn’t change the fact I was being gouged for money every month. And I’ve been with Julep since 2012. I’m seriously a Grandfather Maven haha.

But this is a disappointing bit of information. Especially if right out of the gate, they’ve got such a haphazard, disorganized, scattered mess of a “reveal”. One that they actually are brave enough to state that it is indeed, a “reveal” acccording to website. Yet the “learn more about this collection” link? Yup, still broken.

Speaking of the 20th… Is Julep mistaking this month for April Fool’s?!?! Because their “Learn More About This Collection” link is broken. And they tried to “curate” a box with a 4.99$ repeat polish, a face wash that isn’t anywhere on the site, and an eyeliner with one color option “Navy Smoke” (Already own it.) Plus they only have one other “curated” box option. That I’m pretty sure is an exact repeat of an ‘Essentials’ box they had as an option a few months ago from the Secret Store. And then their brand new moisturizer is sold out at 2 P.M. EST? AND are charging me the exact same price? For no new polishes? None? At all? Surely this is a case of premature-link-line-launch???

Julep hasn’t shipped my January box, there was a delay on a polish Ness; I discovered they have been consistently charging me over $10 more than my email receipts show , hasn’t replied to my email, and doesn’t have February’s collection up and it’s the 20th??

I was just made aware that a Julep filed for bankruptcy in December and laid off over 100 employees. Did anybody else see this?
