Woow, I am so glad I cancelled my subscription in June last year. As they were stopping with “The Signal”, I was already wondering what would come of the crates and did not want to spend the money on it. If it ever becomes better again, I’ll gladly resubscribe, as I actually enjoyed the items that were in it before everything went bad. Hope you all can get some refunds, cause 100 dollar of junk does not seem that useful.

Good news update Feb 9, 2019
I put in refund requests to PayPal for the last three billing transactions that Loot Crate had exacted on my Firefly sub, and all three have come back successfully within a day (although they’ve noted it could take up to 30 days for the refunds to appear in my PayPal account – fingers crossed that still doesn’t leave Loot Crate any wiggle-off-the-hook-room)! I think there have probably been so many complaints about Loot Crate to them that they’re just waving the refunds through and telling Loot Crate what for. So anyone (who paid with PayPal) still just thinking about trying to get their August bill back, make the application before Feb. 11 and I’m sure you will. The other two have later deadlines (April and June I think) but doing them all together will definitely make you feel better.
On a related note, I think MSA should now always put a disclaimer on Loot Crate plugs, especially on new crates (or vapor-ware as I like to call them) stating that Loot Crate has been having many (many) issues with delivery of their product, and has been indulging in some very unprofessional practices with regard to whether they actually provide the product that’s been subscribed for (noting the recent Firefly is it an “apology” or “replacement” crate fiasco). Just sayin’…

I actually got two of the same crate today in the mail. WTF?

I am really upset. I received two of these “apology” boxes because I am missing July 2018, September 2018 and I am also missing November 2018. I canceled my subscription, but when I renewed it last year it was for a year – so unfortunately it runs through December.
They sent me these boxes of stuff left over in the warehouse that is deeply discounted in the Vault to cover July and September. No work on November. I got duplicates in the two boxes. I asked them for my money back and their response is that they sent these two crates of junk as a replacement. I stopped subscribing to their random boxes years ago for this reason.
I did not sign up for random boxes of stuff, I paid for a subscription for Firefly items. Two repeat stickers doesn’t make up for what we are supposed to have. They should either refund the remaining boxes or give us credit for other boxes or credit us for when the Firefly crate is back online, which they claim is in 2019. No word on my missing November box. It is likely too late for me to get a chargeback on my card because I renewed a year ago.
I don’t think MSA should be promoting or touting any of their products until they fix these problems and make them right for their subscribers. This is not making it right.

I completely agree; this is complete BS. They should have refunded our money back or credited us somehow so we could get stuff we actually cared about instead of two boxes full of things I care literally nothing about. I was able to stop my HP subscription with them because of this debacle but I also got the multi-month subscription because I wanted the figures and love *firefly*. As someone else somewhere said, if I wanted random stuff I would already be subscribed to their regular box.
Assuming these are really replacements (as their email suggestes), I am also completely and utterly upset with this whole thing and I second the motion for MSA to stop promoting their boxes. I know I, personally, will never buy from them again.

I don’t think this is a “gift”. Based on what I’ve been reading, they are actually saying these are REPLACEMENT crates for July and November. Old, unsold items from the Loot Vault that they probably wanted to clean out before year-end inventory. And to make matters worse, some of the pictures/posts I’ve seen are showing people getting duplicate items…things in the July replacement crate are the same as some of the things in the November crate. Again, so very happy I cancelled before this debacle.

An excuse to cast off unsold items. I’m honestly surprised there isn’t a wooden Joker.

Hey instead of giving you what you wanted here’s some stuff that is totally unrelated to the thing that you signed up for. Hope you like it!

Hahaha! I know, right?! Looks like they’re cleaning out the warehouse leftovers before inventory happens this month. I feel bad for the people who ordered those boxes, though.
