December 2018 Loot Remix Review
My box came with a card introducing Loot Remix with a code on the reverse for 30% off any other Loot Crate.
It also came with this coupon (“gift card”) for Hello Fresh.
The Blind Pig Coasters
I was really hoping for a Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts item and was so happy to see I got theses – bonus points for coasters because I have been meaning to get some. I received 6 coasters of the magical poster marking the entrance of The Blind Pig, an underground bar and jazz hangout for all those magical. The reverse side has an advertisement for Giggle Water; I would assume the drink most popular at this joint.
Eric received these coasters in his November 2017 J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World Crate!
Sonic the Hedgehog White Emerald Chaos Pin
Each Loot Remix box is supposed to contain a best of pin and this one is it for December! It is from the Sega favorite Sonic the Hedgehog. It has been years since I have played Sonic (and I actually had a Sega!) and to be honest, I just pushed buttons and made him roll, never really understanding the concept of beating a game, but it was cool to receive this diamond shaped pin.
The Million Dollar Man Money Clip
My son is the lover of all things WWE but didn’t recognize this right away. Ted DiBiase wrestled from 1974-1993, so quite a long time ago. The money clip is the same design as the belt he wore. I personally do not have a use for this money clip, but I will keep it and regift it to someone who is a big fan of “old-school” wrestling.
Horchata Scented Deadpool Air Freshener
This was definitely an item that I think of for a Loot Crate and I surprised myself by liking it! First off, I find Deadpool entertaining so I was really digging the design. But the smell was really good and not overwhelmingly strong. I hung this in my husband car a couple days ago and the scent is lingering in the front.
Attack on Titan Vinyl Action Figure
The last item I received in my Loot Remix box is a mystery action figure from an anime series Attack on Titan.
When I opened my mystery pack, it had this checklist that showed the possibilities of the action figure within.
The other side revealed who I got: Eren Jaeger (Flocked). It also had a summary of this character which is pretty cool.
Eren is a pretty cool little figure; I loved his hair!
He also came with a couple of swords.
I had TOO much fun positioning and photographing Eren.
Verdict: This was my first box from Loot Crate and subsequently my first Loot Remix, so I literally had no idea what to expect. I was pretty happy with the contents of my first box and really enjoyed the wide variety of items: Fantastic Beasts, Sonic the Hedgehog, WWE, and even some anime. I signed up for this box for the variety and my expectation was definitely met.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will get a box with a different mix of items.
Value Breakdown: This box costs $14.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 5 items in the box has an average cost of $2.99.
