January 2019 Loot Remix Review
My box came with a card introducing Loot Remix.
Dead Pool Club Merc Taqueria Apron – Estimated Value $20?
The first item I received is this way cool apron from Dead Pool. It is a pretty large apron and could fit any person as it ties in the back and has an adjustable strap for the back of the neck. Eric received this apron back in August, check it out!
The Joker Wooden Figure – Estimated Value $12.99?
The next item I received in this month’s Remix is this wooden figure of the Joker. It's pretty cool looking, standing at about 3 and a half inches tall. His head is removable and interchangeable from haha to heehee. Eric received this wooden Joker back in August 2015!
Kingdom Pin – Estimated Retail Value $5?
I was unable to locate this exact pin in previous boxes, but think it may have been issued in the Loot Box Kingdom Edition back in August 2017. It’s a simple pin with a crest, including a boar’s head, the Loot Crate symbol and axes crossed across each other. It also has 8/2017 in roman numerals further proving my theory that it was sent then.
Gin Tama Gintoki Sakata Figure – Estimated Retail Value $20-$25?
The last item in my Remix is this Anime action figure. Now, I am not a fan of Anime, like at all, but this figure is so impressive and so cool looking. I mean, the expression and his hair are both absolutely fierce. He stands tall, at about 8 and a half inches high. He is also a little heavy. He comes with a sword and the sword holder the sword belt holder.
It also came with this black piece, which I assumed was a holder but for the life of me could not get it to fit on his foot when I was taking pictures. When I sat to start this review and cross-reference boxes that these may have come from, I found that Anna was able to figure it out, with what I would assume, minimal effort. Brava, Anna! She received this back in the August 2017 Loot Anime box.
Verdict: I enjoy the Loot Remix over all Loot boxes for the mere fact that I like such a variety of different things, like Harry Potter, Dead Pool, Mario (just to name a few) and do not have to subscribe to multiple boxes. I also love the surprise of what I will get each month. I estimate a total value of around $60 and definitely think this is a great box that meets its promised $30+ value!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will get a box with a different mix of items.
Value Breakdown: This box costs $14.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box has an average cost of $3.75.
