Each month we get an advertisement card that includes a new contest for a pretty cool gift. This month, it’s a Philips Wake Up Light Alarm Clock! The back of the card also introduces a new way to snack through a monthly subscription; we started reviewing those last month, go check them out here!
We also get a monthly edition of The Regular which has all kinds of puzzles: word search, word fill in’s and connect the dots. This month’s theme is Winter Wonderland.
MyStyle Message Board and Calendar – Estimated Value $10?
The first item I received in this month’s mystery parcel was this dry erase calendar and message board that came with a black dry erase marker. The back is removable to stick anywhere -- somewhere I would place permanently -- so I have not yet placed it. It is easy to write on and easy to erase and a very practical item, one that I will use a lot. I was not able to find this exact option online but took an estimated value based on other types and styles.
Thermaxxx Fleece Lined Knit Hat – Estimated Retail Value $10?
The next item we received at the perfect time – a very warm hat! It is black and white with a black pom on the top.
As soon as my husband put it on, he immediately got hot so it is perfect for cold weather. He especially appreciates that it coves his ears for those really cold days. He has a lot of hair and the hat was pretty snug but overall fit him comfortably. While I was able to locate this hat directly from the manufacturer, I was unable to locate an exact price.
Krazy Squish Ball - Estimated Retail Value $5.00?
The final item I received was this squishy stress ball.
When squeezed the balls pop right on out. It is genuinely squishy!
The only complaint I have is when I took it out of the package, it felt wet and smelled like alcohol. I inspected the ball and noticed it may have some damage here, but squeeze after squeeze nothing leaked out. I am not sure what happened. Like the other items, I was unable to locate this exact product and estimated its value of off similar products and styles.
Verdict: This month’s box was a complete mix of random items, like most boxes we receive from Mini Mystery Box by Jamminbutter. All the items this month are completely practical though, so that was nice. I estimate a total value of $25 which is good for a $9.99 box, including free shipping.
