December 2018 Naturally Vain Bath Bomb Club Review
This month I didn’t receive an info sheet, which was a bummer. Oh well, onto the bath bombs!
Neon Lights Bath Bomb
This pink and yellow neon bomb arrived a little crumbled, but overall it was intact. I loved how this shot out streams of yellow and pink, and it had a sweet scent that I enjoyed.
Unicorn Dreams Bath Bomb
Normally I am not great at identifying scents, but as soon as I smelled this bath bomb I knew it was cotton candy scented! It was awesome, and it alternated between turning my bath pink and purple as I dumped the bath bomb into the water. This even had a baby unicorn soap inside of it, which delighted me when I climbed into the bathtub and saw it in the water.
Honey & Milk Foaming Bath Powder
This is like a bath bomb in a bag, and once the powder hit the water it foamed up and turned my bath a nice shade of periwinkle. The milk and honey scent was light and comforting, and my skin felt soft after I stepped out.
Candy Cane Bath Bomb
I love me some peppermint scents so this candy cane bath bomb was right up my alley. The mint scent was light and pleasant vs. being overbearing, and it was super foamy and lush once it hit the water.
Blueberry Cheesecake Bath Bomb
This sweet blueberry cheesecake bath bomb was half red, half blue, and I appreciated that the bomb dissolved that way! This was another fun one.
Strawberry Sorbet Bath Bombs x 2
After the delicious cotton candy-scented unicorn bath bomb these little guys were my favorite! Though they're smaller, they pack a mighty punch. They smell like sweet strawberries and they foamed up delightfully once they hit the water. I really liked getting two smaller bombs, too!.
Verdict: My biggest complaint with Naturally Vain is that I wish the bath bombs were packaged more securely- other than that, I absolutely love this subscription! It makes some truly great bath art at a great price per bomb, and I love low luscious they are once they hit the water and foam up. Most of the bath bombs on the Naturally Vain site sell for between $5-$6, and I think that is an amazing price for the quality of bath bombs received. I know that MSA readers had been interested in a more affordable bath box, and I think this one fits the bill perfectly!
To Wrap Up:
Can you get this box if you still sign up today? I don’t think so, but you can sign up for the January box!
ACTIVE DEAL: Save $10CAD off your first box!
CODE: LOVEYOURSELF
Value Breakdown: This box costs $31 + $3.90 shipping ($39.99 CAD + $5 CAD shipping), which means that each of the 6 items (counting the two smaller bath bombs as one) in the box has an average cost of $5.82. That is such a good deal for the quality of the bath bombs, and the $10 off LOVEYOURSELF coupon makes the value even better!
