Diamond Crate By Sports Crate “Gear Up” Review
Here is the info sheet for this crate.
Team Gloves
These heathered knit gloves may not be the most stylish pair out there, but they are warm! I like the Diamondbacks logo that is front and center on the top of the glove, but I wish these had textured fingertips so I could text while wearing them.
Team Scarf
This is another one of those warm but not very stylish items. This knit scarf features a winter sweater pattern coupled with the D for Dbacks as well as “Dbacks” written in the middle. I would wear this for warmth, but probably not when I was trying to look cute.
Playing Cards
These are your basic playing cards with the design of the box similar to what a ticket to Chase Field looks like. The cards have your standard suites on one side and the other features a red background with the "D" snake logo. The cards aren’t especially thick or sturdy, but they will do just fine for a game of Go Fish.
Team Lanyard
I wore a lanyard every day throughout high school and most of college, but I don't use them that often anymore. It is big enough to throw over your head but it also has a buckle snap closure as well as a detachable keychain at the other end.
The Verdict: This wasn’t my favorite crate from Sports Crate- I wish a shirt had been included and the designs of the scarf and gloves a bit less garish. All of the items were exclusively from Sports Crate this month. Because of this, I couldn’t accurately estimate the values for anything, though you do usually pay a pretty penny for officially licensed team-branded items. Getting four items for $29.99 is a good deal, but you need to be aware of the wait associated with subscribing.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? I am not positive but I think they are still shipping the Gear Up crates!
Value Breakdown: This box costs $29.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box has an average cost of $7.50.
