I really wanted the lip balm…. I’m debating placing another order and hoping I get lucky!!! I should just order the lip balm, but the addiction to “free” beauty products is real. Ha ha

I had this same thought. But I can’t justify it with my current skincare stash 🙁 I hope they do it again next year!

Zo

Is this on the swap site?

I took the plunge into the world of Tatcha after seeing this promo. I’m 35 now and needed to start a much needed skincare regimen. I must say I’m extremely impressed with the quality and packaging. So much so I’m considering placing another 100 order for a second bag. I received the same variation as the pictures.

Mine just came! Even though I ordered a sheet mask, I got the same products as this spoiler and to take a page from Jessica, I’m not mad about it! I too do not like pot lip glosses but this one smells so lovely, the color is pigmented and it glides on with no stickiness. I’m breaking out my lip brush for it!

Alright guys, I caved and bought the Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream. Woo, hoo! I hope its “the one.” 😀

My order just arrived, I received the same gift set as above which is great because I was hoping for the lip balm. The eye cream is a little different than I anticipated. It didn’t sink right in as I was expecting from reading the reviews. The texture of it is thick, dense and airy at the same time. If you’ve ever tried the La Mer ‘Creme de la Mer’ it’s kind of like that. Even after I patted it on I could see it didn’t all absorb into my skin. Of course because I just immediately wanted to try it, my skin wasn’t moist like it would be right after a cleansing routine or after an essence, etc. I will be sure to incorporate it properly next time.

You can also find Tatcha on QVC.com (who has a fabulous “Easy Pay” program) so if those big prices scare you, you can break them up over 5 or 6 months. It makes sense to me if I know the product is going to last that long. Still though, their travel sizes (only available on Tatcha, I think) are awesome for dipping your toes in.

Wowee, TY! I just hopped on and made an order.

I have been using Tatcha daily for month’s now. I use the Precleansing oil, then the rice powder polish (my absolute favorite), then the essence which makes your next ingredients dig in to your skin. Last step, the water cream moisturizer. Although I initially purchased the $60 travel sizes, I would be down with spending $100 more on their products for sure. A little does go a long way with this brand and they warn you not to overuse. Tatcha has done wonders to my 60 yr old dry, dull olive skin. It is worth every cent to me. To get the most out of any skin care products you should be a slave to routine for best results. Ppl sometimes are not diligent then blame the product for not working. Tatchas’s pricing will help you to become diligent! Haha! I can’t say enough a out this line. Do buy the rice enzyme products, they’re heaven.

Carrie

I can’t say enough either. I use the cleansing oil and the enzyme powder everyday. The packaging…is stunning as well.

I wish I got the lip balm! I also got the blotting papers and the oil cleanser. Very nice value surprise. Tatcha is great.

Mine just came!! Mine has
Camellia Cleansing Oil 25m
Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum 10ml
Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream 3m
Luminous Dewy Skin Mask looks like 1 sheet mask

This is my first order with Tatcha direct and the packaging and presentation is superb 😊

My bag arrived today, I received this bag as well. Love Tatcha products 😍

Reply ButtonReply

Judi

Yes, I got these items too.

Reply ButtonReply

Terry

I received the same. I bought the blotting papers in my order and was really hoping for the lip balm in my lucky bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Zo

Me too! I really wanted the lip balm. Now i wish I had splurged.

Elizabeth

Same! I ordered after having seen the spoiler with the blotting papers but after seeing this spoiler on MSA, I was really hoping for the lip balm. Still a great bag though.

Jeni

Oops and a mini eye cream as well!

Jeni

I got a mini luminous serum, a luminous mask, blotting papers, and a cleansing oil 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

it came it came it came….I received the same variation of this thread….that makes me the proud owner of TWO $35 lip balms. I’ll definitely repurchase next year though.

Jenn

Lucky! That lip balm packaging is gorgeous.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer Davis

Yes, and I paid $5 for gift wrapping so I could reach the $100 limit and that was amazing as well.

Rachelle

There are a few variations. If you’re on reddit, a few people posted their variations on the beautybox thread. I got this variation and I love it! I thought the shade would be too dark for my light skin but it looks beautiful on!

Serena

$35 lip balm?? 😳😳

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

I don’t like a lip balm that I have to put my finger into, and if you use a brush to apply it, then it’s not something you can keep in your purse. Sorry, design fail.

Reply ButtonReply

Gale Stoia

I keep my little pot in my purse along with a retractable lipstick brush I got from Tarte. It works well for me because I love having my balm with me wherever I go!

Carlee

Totally agree this lip balm is not the best for on the go or in your purse. I have other lip products for my purse but this is one looks great on my countertop, along with other my non-travel beauty products. I have yet to try it but if the formula is great, no issues with me that it’s not portable. I wouldn’t call that a design fail.

AmberC

It’s not a fail if it’s a personal preference thing. I like balm pots.

Kim

Tatcha is one of those brands that is definitely “luxury priced” but truly feels luxurious when you use it. I really hope I get to try $35 lip balm in my bag lol

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Mine is coming today. That looks great except I bought the lip balm so I will kick myself if I get it for free. Can’t wait!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Carlee

I got mine already. Instead of the lip balm (which I bought!) I got their Deep Cleanse and their oil cleanser. Very happy – Tatcha’s oil cleanser is my favorite oil cleanser.

Reply ButtonReply

Zo

I’m hoping they do variations so we do not get a travel size of something we ordered. I ordered a full size serum so am hoping I do not receive the serums in this spoiler.

Jennifer Davis

Maybe if they see you bought the lip balm, they won’t give you a bag with more lip balm in it.

Selena

I’m only 22 so I don’t know too much about serums and creams yet, but is that Tatcha brand worth the price point? Is there a point getting something this luxurious (if it is) at my age? Or should I go for something milder (aka cheaper)? I always see amazing deals like this – especially Allure’s January box – and wonder if it’s something I should jump in or if I’m spending too much money for what my skin needs right now… thanks in advance!

Reply ButtonReply

Louise

Personally, I don’t think so. This is a luxury brand. That being said, if your thing is luxury brand face care products, and that’s what you want to spend your money on, go for it

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

It depends on your skin, but I’d say that the “milder” products from higher-end brands like Tatcha tend to be overpriced — and the more intense products tend to be too much for younger skin. When I was in my early 20s (I’m 32 now), most of the higher-end creams were just way too rich for my skin and would make me break out. Actually, most of the higher-end creams are still too rich for my skin and make me break out, but I’ve noticed that some products I wasn’t able to use in my early 20s are working better in my 30s.

The tl;dr of this is that unless your skin is particularly dry for a 22-year-old, I don’t think a lot of these products are for you. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing for you, though — I think you could definitely benefit from using an essence or a lightweight serum; I’m sure the water cream would be fine for you but I also think you can find excellent similar creams for quite a bit cheaper (Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb is an awesome water cream and it’s $38 — which is still sort of pricey, but nowhere near Tatcha’s $68). It’s also never too early to start using an eye cream 🙂

I don’t know what your financial standing is at 22…when I was 22, it wasn’t good enough to indulge in this, but now at 40 I can afford to indulge a little. I’m still testing Tatcha so I mainly have purchased travel sizes(or the starter ritual set) which is an awesome way to try things out on a smaller budget. Why buy big until you even know if you like it right?? On another note, it’s definitely worth taking care of your skin sooner than later, but there are other brands as well. I’d say go ahead and sample some of those travel sizes (they last a pretty long time because a little product really does go a long way) then decide if you like it, want to continue using it, and how much its worth to you.

While I have some overlap, I received a different lucky bag variation. Mine contained the following:
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Sheet Mask
Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum – 5ml
Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum – 10 ml
Tatcha The Deep Cleanse – 50ml
Tatcha Pure one step camellia cleansing oil – 25 ml

Emilia

I would love the lip balm and face serum. The eye cream and sheet mask are too expensive for what they are. I mean, a single mask for $12?!

Reply ButtonReply

Louise

I agree. If it comes in my bag I’ll have high expectations for its performance. I like the Tonlmoly individual mask treatments from Macy’s which are 3.00 a piece.

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

I ordered it and can’t wait to receive my order! They variation would be perfect! I would like to see the reviews about the lucky bag and other Tatcha creams please.
