World of Drag December 2018 Review

Your package will come with an info card that has photos and short descriptions of the three items inside.

"UNHhhh" T-Shirt, size medium

This shirt is quite a bit tamer than last month but sadly I was not familiar with the reference. It's actually the name of a web series on WOW Presents hosted by Trixie Mattel & Katya Zamolodchikova where they dish about... "whatever". These two queens have well over 70 episodes under their belts where they cover all sorts of topics like hair, online dating, and even death. The name of the show itself ends up sounding like a steamy sex noise, so you know there are some juicy tidbits in there.

"Werk" Enamel Pin

YOU. BETTA. WERK. We all know RuPaul's famous song "Supermodel" which kicked off her rise to mainstream fame. This enamel pin reminds you in hot pink neon lettering that you gotta werk to get to the top. This piece is made of a heavy duty metal and features 2 pin backs so it won't wobble around on the jacket that you end up affixing it to. Let the world know that you're a star!

Dusty Ray Bottoms Sticker Pack

I had to google Dusty Ray since she's from season 10 and I haven't made it that far on Drag Race yet. What a terrible fan I am. Her signature look is making over her face with lots of different sized dots, so this month's package comes with stickers for anyone to create the look with ease. The sheet is pretty huge, so there are plenty to use for several nights out.

Here I am in my tee and spotted face!

Verdict: This month's World of Drag delivery didn't knock my socks off, but I do like the pin and think it could "werk" for any fan, and the tees they send are always super soft and fit me like a glove, so I can't complain. I'm still hoping for some Milk, Sharon Needles, or Raja gear though!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? December is sold out and it doesn't look like they've opened orders for January yet. Your best bet is to sign up to get emails so you know when you can join!

Value Breakdown: At $23.00 ($19.00 + $4.00 shipping) for this subscription, you're paying $7.67 per item.

UNHhhh is the funniest show on YouTube! When I’m in a bad mood I watch a few episodes and forget what was pissing me off. I love Katya and Trixie!

I’ve been waiting to subscribe, but each month I’m jealous reading these reviews. Next month is my birthday so I think I’m gonna treat myself.

Same. Trixie and Katya are my favorites. Love them! (Check out Katya’s podcast, Whimsically Volitile. It’s great!)

I love UNHhhh! It’s a super funny! Best 10 minutes you can spend on YouTube.

I’ve been jealous every month reading these reviews, but just can’t pull the trigger and subscribe. Next month is my birthday so maybe I will splurge.

Oh, and the Christmas special was really fun, and I don’t even like the holidays! It came with All Stars 4 on Amazon, but there are probably other ways to view it.

Even though a monthly box seems more affordable than a quarterly one… I am so not in for a tshirt every month. I wonder if they could try a monthly box with a tshirt every three months or so.

But what genius the Dusty Ray dots are!! This makes me want Sasha Velour eyebrows, tho I’m not sure if I’m willing to glue my eyebrows down, because ouch! (at least I don’t have to tuck!)

I loved Season 10, and I hope several of those queens will be on future All Stars casts. What’s weird is that I wasn’t excited about any of them except for Dusty and one other from watching their intros and interviews with Sasha… but when they started coming into the werkroom on Episode 1, I was so there for for it! OTOH, I’m envious that you still have the season (and All Stars 4?) to look forward to, Marne.

Milk and Sharon are big fan faves, and Raja is a BIG fan fave, so I bet there will be some. I think this box is one that will really listen to what fans have to say since they manufacture their own goods for the box, not like a beauty subscription that has to work with cosmetics brands to see what they can get.

Thanks for another great review, Marne!

Such a sad sad box compared to the first one. I really hope they regroup and go back to the fabulous offerings they started out with.
