December 2018 Review
Each box comes with this foldable magazine that folds out to a poster. The first “page” of the magazine presents the theme. December’s theme is High Flyers!
When I opened the magazine to its first fold, I was presented with the contents of the box. This month I got 6 exclusive WWE items.
The next fold features an excerpt from Creating the Mania featuring an interview with Cedric Alexander.
Once completely unfolded, a poster of AJ Styles flying through the air is revealed. This is a pretty big poster, measuring at 32 ½ inches tall by 15 ½ inches wide.
High Flyers Rey Mysterio T-Shirt – Estimated Value $25?
The first item in our box is the exclusive WWE shirt featuring legendary lucha libre superstar Rey Mysterio.
The shirt is 60% cotton and 40% polyester and is pretty soft.
I ordered this in a small for the WWE fan in my home – my son Jay. He wears a kid’s large, or size 14, so that helps to describe the size. It fit him perfectly and comfortably.
AJ Styles Collectible Figure – Estimated Value $20?
The collectible figure we received this month is of AJ Styles.
When I opened it up, I was presented with the figure in the front and the stage in the back. Once I put it together, it stood just a little under 6 inches tall from the bottom of the stage to the top of AJ’s head. The stage is a little over 6 inches long and is great for displaying on a desk, shelf or bookcase. The figure itself looked really great, with great detail in his body, hair, and costume.
Cruiserweight Champion Pin – Estimatedhttps://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/6014437/type/dlg/https://lootcrate.com/products/wwe-slam Value $10?
This pin is pretty cool and also bears some weight. It is an exact replica of the Cruiserweight Champion belt down to the diamonds on the side.
The New Day Kofi Cup – Estimated Value $15?
This ceramic cup is designed after WWE High Flyer Kofi Kingston. It has fluffy, buttery pancakes on the cup with dripping syrup on the top. There is a silicone lid and a removable silicone sleeve so that I can hold the cup without fear of burning my fingers. It is dishwasher safe and holds 12 fl oz.
High Flyers Sticker Pack – Estimated Value $5?
The next item I received in this month’s box was this exclusive High Flyer sticker set, featuring designs for Rey Mysterio and the Hardy Boyz. Our sticker set would be incomplete without the WWE logo.
Velveteen Sleep Mask – Estimated Value $10?
The last item in our December High Flyers box was this sleep mask designed after Velveteen Dream (although it reminds me of disco). The soft purple mask has his glasses with vibrant colors reflecting in their lens. The mask also features double straps to ensure the mask won't slip during sleep.
Verdict: This was my first WWE Slam Crate from Loot Crate and I am pretty happy with it; my son is over the moon about it! I loved the way the items were based on epic High Flyer wrestlers but were everyday items, like the Kofi cup or sleep mask. I also really liked the box itself and the way it had the stage lights and cage; my favorite thing about Loot Crates is the details in the boxes they ship their items in. The $85 total value is estimated based on previous posts and value of everyday items. That being said, I do think the value of the items exceed the $39.99 box cost ($34.99 plus $5.00 shipping) and the promised value of $60.
