YumeTwins December 2018 “Pokemon Holiday Parade” Review
You’ll receive a booklet with information on each item, contests, and kawaii culture. This one is covered in Pokemon!
There is also a booklet that explains their reward program and shows some prizes you can receive in exchange for points!
Let's see what kawaii goodness we got this month!
Pikachu Luggage Tag
I have loved Pokemon since I was a little kid and would rush home from school to catch the latest episode on tv! Pikachu is undoubtedly the most iconic character from the show, and this adorable luggage tag is the perfect homage to the little electric fellow. Though I am not a kid anymore, I am not sure I could resist attaching this tag to my luggage on my next big trip.
Pokemon Keychain Ornament - Buy a set of 5 Pokemon for $40.00
There was a chance to get one of 5 assorted Pokemon keychains and it looks like Pikachu chose us! This smaller keychain is really detailed and well painted. It is also small enough to sneak onto your keychain without feeling juvenile. He is also made out of a rather flexible plastic, so I don't have to worry about breaking his ears or tail off on accident. A little piece of gum was included in the box.
Pikachu Rice Mold
This is the silliest and most amazing Pokemon product I have yet seen. It is a rice mold in the shape of Pikachu's head and included with the mold are shapes you can use to create his facial features. I can only imagine how delighted I would have been to open my lunchbox to this as a kid! Per the booklet, you can also use it for rice and mashed potatoes.
Palm-sized Animal Plushie
This cute blue bird was one of 20 possible animals you can get in your box this month. It is a wonderful little gift some someone in your life who loves super kawaii things.
Sanrio Stickers
I also adored everything Sanrio as a kid. I remember we used to have a Sanrio store nearby growing up and after getting good marks in school my Nana would take me to pick our special erasers, compacts, or stationary with these cute characters. These little stickers have the whole gang!
Hello Kitty Sticky Notes
Even as an adult I can't get enough cute stationery. These little stickies are the perfect size for smaller notes or flagging important items in paperwork or books.
Verdict: This month’s YumeTwins box really made me smile! The Pokemon and Sanrio items were so nostalgic for me. I love how all of the items were pretty useful, even though I am not a kid anymore. The only thing I will be gifting would be the plushie, but I know the perfect person for it! I wish I had gotten at least one of the Eevee items, but Pikachu is another favorite so I am still pleased.
